I don't use the R word anymore but that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I literally told HCP to knock it off after he threatened OB on this board. I don't think you people realize how stupid you sound.

Defending yourself, justifying your words/actions, and arguing who is to blame is a natural reaction...but at some point it becomes counter-productive.

One final note; when I came back to the forum after an extended exile, one of the posters in this thread greeted my first post back by telling me to "get out of here." Fortunately, I figured out it was intended as a joke and the poster didn't know his comment would strike a particular nerve with me. I'm glad the thing didn't turn into an extended blood feud, as the poster in question seems like a nice guy. Not every ill-considered comment on this forum is a personal attack.

Funny note - my most f'd up finger is the middle finger on my right hand. Even though it is in a brace and I am not using it to hit keys, typing with my other fingers make it hurt like hell. It feels like somebody bent it back to the wrist - and I didn't even get the satisfaction of flipping anybody off with it! :doh:

Well my opinion is you shouldn’t post an idea like that. I understand HCP rubs people the wrong way sometimes but suggesting someone should go after his job is out of line. Personally I have no issues with him. I think he has ridiculous political views but I still think he’s a good dude. I think you are too by the way.

Give me a break. Here's a sample of my reply to one of many posters asking me what is wrong with HCP. I just copied the text so I didn't let slip who it was from...

Hahahahahaha. HCP is hilarious. At first I thought it was all just an act but he really really cares what people think about him.

He usually likes insults I make against him so it seems he probably just wants attention

IDK I think a lot of the issue is how people view this site.
If everyone viewed this site as a community we'd all get along better, and you wouldn't need to constantly add new mods to keep certain people in check.
You've said in the past that you wish certain posters wouldn't follow others around trying to goad a response out of people.
I don't think people who do that view this site as a community like you. In fact I think people who make that decision are purposely trying to break the community apart. Which imo is what you've worked so hard to create.
IDK you've said in the past that you approved of people talking about how the mods moderate. Personally I believe the way things are handled right now are keeping people from wanting to be part of a community.
For example.
I think a couple years ago I made a most about how frustrated I was with my kitchen sink and it still leaking after I changed it out.
You, Marazul and maybe a couple others helped me figure out the issue.
I would never post something like that now a days because of how many people attempt to goad others into responses.
I told you one of the reasons why I refused to be part of the 3 on 3 team this year. Not even participate in practices even though I certainly had the time for a change.
The other reason was I refused to be part of something that has posters who goad responses out others. Then get upset when they get a not-so-kind response.
I'd even post a video of me dunking again on this site being that I view it as a huge accomplishment after my injury in college(I didn't care all that much to recover from it). I mean I was up to 290+lbs. Now I'm not round and able to do things I haven't done in years. But it's not going to happen because too many trolls exist.

I'm not innocent in that, as I've done it with posters like swish3, tucnhi, etc. I've even done it recently with PP because I know he hates it when he thinks people don't think he's neutral. Now that I'm down to nearly my playing weight. I can jump again and run.
My form isn't broken like it used to be either as I actually have lift again.
Birthday is in March and I'll be 31.
Before I made the decision to drop some weight, I couldn't even touch the bottom of the backboard.
 
Note to mods: I understand why you deleted my question to bodyman about a hypothetical scenario... however when the next message quotes the same reply that was deleted it doesn't really accomplish anything, does it? Just trying to help. In the meantime I should be fucking myself apparently so I have to go...

You young bastige. I think I was over 400 by 31.. Maybe high 300s.

I've put on 30 lbs while my wife has dropped the same and looks better at 44 than 34. I guess I'm lucky. She just passed her personal trainer exams on Friday. She's going to be a trainer part time and still manage a bunch of hair salons during the week.


We went for a nice bike ride Sunday and I couldn't stay close to her up the hills to our house.
