And yet their bench out scored ours by 25 a game.
Because they started a lot of games, leaving our bench as thin as yours.

Dude you weren't watching the games then. A lot of our bench had to start because of injuries.
Now you're being lame. Belinelli started more games than your entire bench combined, and your starters out scored ours by 25 a game.
Mark it down.....This is the trade.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Wes Mathews for Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng and Taj Gibson?

The Bulls have three stellar assets. They are, in order of importance:
1. Tom Thibodeau
2. Joakim Noah
3. Derrick (Derek?) Rose
I list Noah over Rose because I happen to think he's more important to the team. He's a leader and an incredible defender. Rose is like a slightly poor-man's Dwyane Wade, which is damn good, too.
Of the rest, Deng is pretty important, but now overpaid, and the kid from Marquette is a much cheaper replacement. The Bulls are like the Spurs: they've got an awesome system and it makes role players look better than they really are. You thought Nate Robinson was the bees knees, and indeed, he looked great at times in the playoffs. So why aren't Chicago trying hard to re-sign him? Because they know they can find a bargain basement replacement. Just like San Antonio does.
Aldridge would be a major fourth asset and the difference between not getting to the EC finals and contending for a title. We know it, and they know it.

Give me Thibs, Noah, Gibson and Jimmy B.

How is that better than the Clippers deal?
The coach
Here's a suggestion. It's not ideal (obviously I'd like to get Taj Gibson as well) and it assumes that we get the rights to Mirotic AND the Charlotte pick. Obviously the Bulls would prefer it if Boozer was the one going to Houston, (so this is a trade that both Chi and Por would prefer) but Houston's got to know they're likely to amnesty him anyway. But anyway, it acknowledges two facts:
1. Houston still needs to clear a bit of cap space to offer Howard the max, but
2. They're not going to just give Asik away for nothing.
Why would they give up Lin? Because Beverley is better, and his balloon payment comes due next year.
We don't really know that though. Stotts has only been here one season.

I suggested something very close to this way early in the thread.
I still think the Clippers trade is the best the best Blazers can get.
Denny sounds so butthurt.
"they know how to win."
NEXT.
Why would Chicago trade Boozer? He's worth more to them as their amnesty player.
