I think the 10 days between the draft and beginning of free agency makes any trades involving both problematic. I know it can be done, but the variables that can change just about every calculation are many and large

With Harden opting out and looking elsewhere, there are rumblings (and betting odds) that have Portland at the forefront of many conversations.

HOWEVER.....the starting asking price (typical Morey) from what I've heard, they want, #3, Ant, Nurk AND Sharpe for the oft-injured MVP. (Jokic is laughing)

Of course there would have to be more to it as it doesn't work cap wise, but that is why this would never happen. Morey wants a ransom, and Portland would be left with Dame, Embiid and ......crickets.

I would do that deal. Look at it this way. If last year I said if we tank twice, we can get Embiid for Ant/Nurk, we’d also hell yes. We would be able to flesh out a roster around them. Look at what the Lakers did.

Dame/Reddish/Thybulle/Grant/Embiid would contend with a couple nice additions using MLE and Knicks pick. Plus ring chasers with vet min. Our defense would be really good. Offense would be better too obviously.

Who's a free agent? I don't see anyone involved in a potential trade that is.

I think Harden and Morey have a good enough long relationship that Morey will know if Harden is staying or going at the draft.

please don’t take offense but he did stay healthy enough to win MVP. Say what we will about him he’s a sure thing and absolutely a player that would make us a contender at least for couple of years. Now you may be right the cost would likely empty our cupboard, likely costing us Sharpe along with 3rd pick and maybe another 1st. Does Simons, Dame, Grant and Embid is damn good lineup then fill in with some vets and you’re a championship contender.

wife set up dr appt for my hearing I said I hear fine besides the constant ringing in my ears. So I go in take the hearing test and I’m like I killed this test I can’t wait to go home and rub it in wife’s face. Then dr comes in says you could probably use hearing aid you can’t hear higher pitched tones. Then he said like women’s voices will be harder for you to hear, I was devastated I’m to young for hearing aid. At least I have excuse that I can’t hear the wife

BTW- did ringing in ears is because my brown is trying to make up for tones I can’t hear well.
