I know. Given the drivel in this thread, his comment was ironic, though.

I would have understood if he'd have directed that comment at other posters (or even me), but the fact it was directed at you was quite odd. You have to have one of the highest rep-to-post ratios on this forum.
 
Reminds me of a dispute on another forum I frequent.

Figuratively speaking, this guy would paint himself purple, stick sparklers up his arse, march around playing a tuba....and then scream "don't look at me!"

Yeah, I know. I made the same mistake. I was under the mistaken impression that Mediocre Man had been banned back when he was suspended. It wasn't just wishful thinking. It actually said "Banned" below his avatar, so I assumed (incorrectly) that he had been banned.

Do you actually pay for this forum SW? If so, I urge you file a bug report with them and tell them they need to fix this. It's just some text in a database field somewhere that says Banned when it should say Suspended.

Banned users now say "suspended" under their name. I made a special new banned user group for actually banned users. We'll have to add to that group manually, and an admin has to do it. Which is fine, since we don't want to be banning often at all.

I've considered your suggestion and decided to reject it. I have my opinion. You have yours. I get it that you don't like free speech, because you find differing opinions uncomfortable.

it's great that you have different opinions then others but its not free speech you're advocating for.
