Come on, man. I was just telling my wife this morning how excited I am about the Mariners squad this year. There's still stuff to be positive about, the blazers just suck at the moment.

I hope your break from the boards gives you a sunnier disposition.
 
Here's the thing the Mariners have a good GM in Dipoto and personal guy forget the other guys name and they turned a bad situation into the best they could and made some good moves but I have ZERO faith Cronin could do something similar with the Blazers cause he is an idiot.

I’m the last person to stir up trouble, so please take this as a post and not an argument.

But what has Cronin done so poorly?

Drafted Sharpe, Walker, Scoot, Murray and Rupert

Traded for a 25 year old center averaging 14/11

Found Reath and signed him

Amassed multiple picks and still has assets to trade

He’s not perfect, for sure, but he turned over a roster, that needed to be turned over, pretty well.

The problem is he is a better like spin doctor / con artist unlike NeO who let's be honest if he told us the sky was blue we would have to look for ourselves to verify it was true. He mislead Dame at best and lied to his face at worst so why should the fans trust him ? I am going to re-visit this part for a second and say that Dame ( his camp ) after he was mislead / lied to at the trade e deadline when instead of getting him help we traded Hart and got back shit in return to help Dame out. My point is Dame / his camp should at some point taken what Cronin said and not bought into the lie cause I think Dame wanted to believe the team would not lie to his face. I believe at some point he should have seen through the BS and acted faster and such even asking out sooner instead of waiting until the last minute to make his demand. I am at the point where I put 60 / 70 percent of the blame on Cronin ( Blazers FO ) and 30 to 40 percent on Dame and his camp.

I cannot trust the GM and maybe owner who mislead the face of this franchise and even after all that still is open to returning IF you believe what he said when he came to town almost a month ago now. He for some reason still believes in the fanbase and the team even though the GM ( maybe Owner ) mislead him and then jerked him around. I love Dame but after what they did to him I would have said I love the fanbase but as long as Cronin and maybe the owner is here then no way in returning. I applaud his loyalty to the fanbase even if some in the fanbase have abandoned him but at some point a person after being lied to has to say enough is enough but even for this flaw -- I still love Dame -- LOL

HCP -- your right I need to chill out cause if I am being honest even though I can be intense at times only a couple posters get under my skin to the point where I turn into a SOB and one of them tried to bait me in this thread and I did not bite.

I plan on walking away from this forum until the off season unless there is some breaking news or something big happens but if I am being honest seeing this team like it is when in my opinion could have been avoided has triggered me too. I can handle the Blazers being bad but this whole thing could have been avoided if the team had a new owner and a GM and that is a fact. I am not saying it would be all sunshine and roses but right now this team is in the worst shape it's been in for as long as I have been a fan ( 1989/90 ). Watching Dame leave town and certain fans turn on him has pissed me off and I have not handled it at all well too cause I was understanding of a rebuild but the fans venom I was not and it triggered me . I am not excusing my behavior but I do feel like some have liked seeing me go off the rails and even goaded me at times and it's part of reason I am taking a break too.

Last thing is I am sorry for some of my outbursts of passion but they were laced with venom and that was wrong but this does not apply to NB cause you try to trigger me but to the rest I will do better in the future and Go Blazers !!!

ADDON - I will monitor this thread for the rest of the day and maybe respond if needed but after today I will not be posting unless news happens like I said above.

This will be my last post Like I said cause some cannot even have some common sense to just let it be and has to try and bait me some more.

Nate my issue with you is something I got to deal with and in the end the answer is to prolly just ignore you but why do you feel like its fun to try and annoy me. Before I go I got a story that Sly can verify but during a Blazer game Nate sent a handful of private DM's nothing bad but just annoying DM's just to tick me off . I may make posts that prolly should not have been done at times but I would NEVER DM harass someone so while I own my issue -- I believe you have one too so get a clue and I plan on following this advice -- Grow Up cause honestly this is stupid on both our parts.

Here are the facts. There are some people on this forum who are annoyed by my mere existence.

My style of posting just pisses them off, and they love to tell me about it. Most of them are actually on my ignore list because frankly I got tired of seeing their bullshit.

But they refuse to put me on ignore. Why? I don't know. But me posting about the Blazers just really really annoys the fuck out of them. Unfortunately, I'm never going to change. This is who I am, for better or worse. And if making fun of someone for posting something that I think is silly qualifies as bating.... well....... if you call people Cronin Ass Kissers, I'm going to post a goofy gif of a sea lion making a kissy face. :dunno:

Nope. I’m literally sickened that anyone here would try ruin someone’s life over a message board post. Are these individuals still allowed on the board? Just horrible. Really makes one reevaluate things. I love the Blazers, and love talking about them, but not that much.

There have been a few people who really took the Blazers stuff far too seriously.

Some of them are no longer posting here, and have hopefully changed for their own well being.

Ya, hopefully. I know I can be a bit much sometimes, and have a very quick and snarky sense of humor, but I wish everyone the absolute best and hope their lives are awesome. Even the evil MAGA people
