Saw yesterday that LeBron has played with or against 38% of ALL PLAYERS who have ever been in the league!
LeBron's an interesting case because in the 2000s, we saw the rosters expand from 12 to 15, so (by facing their teams; I doubt they did any on-court/off-court tracking) he's faced 25% more players per year than Kareem did.

Many of those he “faced” were sitting on a bench.

You only need five players to cover the entire span of the NBA (1949-50 Season through 2024-25 Season):

Vern Mikkelson, played 1949-1959 (10 seasons)
Dave Gambee, played 1958-1970 (12 seasons)
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, played 1969-1989 (20 seasons)
Avery Johnson played 1988-2004 (16 seasons)
LeBron James, played 2003-present (22 seasons)

These five players played against every player ever to play in the NBA.

Now do it with players that were teammates. Who’s the oldest vet LeBron played with in his first few years?

I just did it in 6 between teammates:

Slater Martin (1949 - 1960) played with Bob Ferry (1959 - 1969) in Saint Louis who played with Earl Monroe (1967 -1980) in New York who played with Bill Cartwright (1979 -1995) in New York who played with Scott Williams (1990 to 2005) in Chicago who played with LeBron James in Cleveland (2004 - Present).
