Is Jerami Grant a win now move? Can we convince them?
For all the bashing the guy takes here he is a quality Forward.
He is long and plays good defense. He can guard 1-4 and at times 1-5.
He is capable of creating his own shot and can also catch and shoot.
He has been a very good teammate here in Portland and is a solid upstanding individual.
Jerami Grant has been a pleasure to have here in Portland.

I’d think teams around the league would see Grant as a valuable asset. He’s probably got decent value Id figure. But if Giannis leaves MIL we would probably have to wait for that to happen to move him as Giannis will likely be priority #1 for all teams.

By the way I hope that didn't come off as snarky. Not my intention.
I agree Grant could be considered a win now move.

I didn’t take it that way. I’d be interested in Mathurin and Walker so I’m curious if Grant would be enough. Salaries wouldn’t match up so it’s probably not realistic anyway.

Yeah, I have nothing against Jerami Grant here. More, how he's been used and just the fact that we still have him.

It's nothing against him. More where I see his value and what he can offer us.

As far as I can tell he's a great guy.

I guess Luka got slim already. They must have put him on Ozempic.

Best GM we have had since trader Bob got fired.

What was the reason again? Didn't he lie to PA to get Tom Penn a raise? I have no clue if it was true, but I thought the rumor was that KP claimed another team was trying to steal Penn to justify his raise. Then, when PA checked into it, he found out it never happened.

IIRC, the rumor was that KP and Penn concocted some story that Minny's front office wanted to steal Penn from the Blazers; this supposedly spurred PA to give Penn a raise and promotion. Then PA was pissed and decided to fire KP....but apparently let KP handle the 2010 draft and took Babbitt at 16; Elliot Williams at 22; and Armon Johnson at 34

it was a weird story all around

Loved that! I hope he really works on his three point shot this offseason so that he can take advantage of creating more drives to the basket. He’s an elite finisher at the rim.
Sure would be nice if he focused on his defense this offseason.

Outside of the top 10, that was a pretty bad draft. Avery Bradley, Eric Bledsoe and Whiteside were decent picks outside the lotto.

Timberwolves look out of their element tonight.
