Also Jalen Green has a Wingstop ad. Now when I first saw the ad did I think, "Is that Jalen fucking Green?" and then I was sure it was him and wondered why it didn't say " Jalen Green NBA Hopeful" under his name? Yeah I did. Still though, he's got a national ad campaign where almost every customer is asking themselves who the fuck is that and that must make him a star.

if you just flipped Portland and LAL, the top-15 defenses are all in the playoffs. Denver is the only outlier ranking 22nd

on the other hand, while 15 of the top-16 defenses are in the playoffs, 14 of the top 16 offenses are in the playoffs

When Sengun was out last season, Jalen Green looked like the best player in the league. I think it’s too early to judge their talent in their first playoffs. Jimmy Butler couldn’t “take over a series” in his first playoffs.

the craziest thing about those lists, other than there were almost no breakthroughs by non playoff teams...is that Denver was 22nd in defense after being 8th last season. Did KCP mean that much to their team defense? Jokic did play 9 fewer games this season than last season

If they need a job and this one is open, they'll fucking take it... maybe not for the same price as Joe and maybe we have to pay a higher premium than bigger markets but we could get whatever "proven good GM" that doesn't have a job when the carousel stops. The fact is this is an exercise in futility because we've got Joe for the foreseeable future along with Chauncey, if Bert can be managed by those two maybe we can see if the vision they have for our team is viable.

I disagree. A proven good GM will not have a shortage of opportunities, nor will they have much financial motivation to take the first job opening.

I’ll bite on this.
The fans didn’t really do the stealing though. The owner/management probably should hold the blame on that.
I agree the team was stolen and I also don’t want them to succeed.
It would be nice for the NBA to fix that wrong. It’s been long enough.

Here’s a thought. Now that the thunder are arguably the best team in the league maybe Seattle should steal the team back?
