Have the Bucks ever been able to utilize Dame to his full potential? Seems like it’s been a struggle for him there since day 1. Definitely haven’t seen anything close to what you would expect success wise from the Bucks since acquiring Dame.

They will probably win at least one at home, but this 2-0 series should already have them on Alert if they want to prevent another first round exit.
too bad they fired terry

I would say yes - what you are seeing is about what I expected with Dame on the Bucks.
It's a significant mis-alignment of skill sets.

This isn't a personal attack but why are you such a prick about Scoot???

Is it because picking him pushed Dame (according to you "feast or famine) Lillard out? Is it because Cronin oversold how good he was going to be coming into the league? Is it because everyone had him as the second or third pick and we picked him third?

If you want to rip on Joe for the pick, go for it... I think it's a pretty idiotic thing to complain about seeing who was drafted after him (that draft just wasn't that great) and the fact that he was the consensus at the time but if anyone is to blame it's Joe. Instead you continue to rip on a young guy, who hasn't had the opportunity to flourish because of Ant and has a seemingly fantastic attitude and work ethic.

It's bullshit man, just pure childishly stupid bullshit.

Bc he was hyped to be this special generational type of point guard

Be mad at the entire scouting system. Like I said rip on Joe, even though I don't agree with that, it's not close to as stupid.

The fact is the hype was not Scoot's fault and it sure as shit isn't two years later. The things Scoot can control, his attitude and effort, are pretty unfailingly great. So just attach who you think is to blame in the future or for fuck's sake just stop beating this dead horse.

It shouldn’t be though. To your point, I understand that Giannis is at his best as a point forward, and Dame as a point guard. But like @kjironman1 said, there’s no reason those two strengths can’t be used together. Dame operates as a PG using screens to get open looks or drive. Giannis works best driving into the paint.

I think it’s got to be like 90% on Doc Rivers failing as a coach at encouraging the two of them to play off of that as often as possible.

If you had Giannis and Dame in Stotts’ offense you would absolutely see a difference in performance.

This is a fantastic idea. Make the worst play the 4th worst and the 2nd play the 3rd, the winning teams play for the first pick with the loser getting the 2nd and the losing teams play for 3rd with the team that loses both games getting the 4th pick.

Brilliant!!!!

And then reverse it by saying “you should have tried playing this hard all season” and then give the pics to teams 10-14 instead. Ha!

Does NBA League pass include all the games for the playoffs?

I started a free trial through Prime, but it says I need to also subscribe to Max to watch some?

If I get League pass on the app will it circumvent that or does one have to pay for multiple services to see the games?

Warriors playing depth tonight. Bringing in guys that didn't play last game. Chess not Checkers.
It's a long series and they need to spread the minutes out a bit. Why not after taking the first one.

Depends.

If you're international, then yes (I think).

If you're in US, only the NBATV games are live full broadcasts. You can watch the TNT-OT (backboard camera - no sound) live, but all the other games are available basically as a 'tape' delay of 3-hrs after the game is over.

No, just the NBA TV ones. I did the Max subscription through Amazon for the next month to see the TNT games. Getting to see season 2 of Last of Us helped justify the extra cost.

Except it's not a long series--only 5 games in the opening round, right? Clearly they're banking on winning both home games, but that just feels like a dangerous strategy to me. If Steph has just one off night, they're heading back to Houston for a winner-take-all.

Bro? They went to 7 games 22 years ago? We're talking decades since there was a 5 game series.

7 games since the early 2000’s. This helps prove my point that the NBA in unwatchable

IPTV. All the games. $15 per month

Playoffs are fun to watch but I agree regular season games just don’t have much intensity.
Been an advocate of a shorter season for a while. 66 games would make every game more meaningful.

Or that I'm getting senile. I think I conflated with the MLB first round.

That's one thing that makes no sense. No, not you getting senile, MLB having best of 5 in the first round.

Especially since the top seed in each league gets a bye.

Try talking players in to playing meaningless games to draft someone to steal their roster spot.

Let it go old man. This league is thriving and very watchable in spite of your never ending attempt to prove otherwise.
Stick to your inside trade info FAMS!

Not sure where to share….. having lunch yesterday with my dad kinda in our hood ant a spot called Grind w/ Tryz. Amazing Hawaiian spot…. and I hear,”Big John!” Turn around and it’s NBA legend Channing Frye. Such a good dude. So cool and down to earth. He lives here still. Started up a wine company called CHOSEN with Kevin Love. He was at a meeting there. Caught up for about 10 minutes.
Dude loves RipCity! Anyway, thought I’d update how a former Blazer is doing post playing career.
