Imagine paying nearly a thousand dollars to sit in terrible seats and drink $40 beers while you regret this life choice of ever paying that much to see a sporting event lol.

Eh, a lot of people don’t care. If you’re paying for that you can probably afford it and not worry too much about the cost.

Hello Eore.

A thousand is a thousand and no sporting event is worth a thousand lol.
Many years ago, I sat at courtside, I’m talkin on the floor front row for $1500/ticket for Clippers a few times and thought it was totally a good deal for that seat (basically Jack’s seat at Laker games). One time I sat next to Paul Allen. Another time, Donald Sterling. Totally worth it. I sat courtside at Warriors too in their Oakland days. About the same price. Good times.

Pretty crazy to think Jokic missed 3 Free Throws and two wide open looks from three in the last few minutes of that game. Not blaming him for the loss as many players didn’t step up but that was pretty uncharacteristic of him.

It will be because of the media and their agenda making him look like the angry black man or something.
I like Draymond's game and intensity, but I wish he'd drop, Its about making him look like an angry black man. When he hammered nurkic that's flagrant, he's not an innocent victim.

Draymond can score. Just didn't. Role players stepped up, so did Butler, Green disappeared.

I think the issue is the Cavs don’t have a LeBron James.

This is exactly why you make the playoffs and see what happens. Anything can happen in a playoff series. Already we have seen The Bucks, Warriors, Cavs all decimated by injuries and now out (Cavs still have a chance). Health is what matters in the playoffs. The team that can stay healthy and play consistent will win in the end. Depth will prevail.
A few years back Golden State won it all without ever playing a team with a full roster.

This is why the way games are called changes so drastically from regular season to playoffs. Teams being allowed to play like the playoffs all season would produce much more exciting games yes but unfortunately players would never make it through 82 games.

Yes, but you have to have a legit roster. This Blazers roster isn't winning a series against even those depleted teams. Unless we ran into the Bucks in the finals...

Thats basically what happened when the Blazers made the WCF a number of years ago. We first played an overrated Thunder team but where Paul George did have an injury. Then played a young Denver team that had zero playoff experience and somehow we ended up in the conference finals. We saw the Hawks do this a few years ago. The Raptors had a number of years they kept making it through a few rounds. Jazz backed into many playoff series wins this way.

It basically always ends in the conference finals or certainly in the finals when those teams play legit competition and become exposed.

I suppose if the goal is just to win a playoff series or two that can be a way to try and get lucky to win it. If the goal is to win a title ultimately its better to get a roster with a superstar player to eventually get there.

OKC and Minnie better improve their 3 pt shooting during playoffs if they want to win it all.

OKC 31.8% on 40.1 FGA's
Minnie 32.9 % on 35.8 FGA's

I didn’t say anything about the Blazers.
