Yeah, it seems to me like we have a guy coming on board that may have made sense to hire as the next wunderkind head coach.So he has more experience than Chauncey.
He's 34, he's been grinding at NBA coaching for what seems like a decade... the first 3 years as a video coordinator and then as an assistant after that. His first two years out of college he was a graduate assistant at Pepperdine. I wonder what graduate degree he was pursuing.
Anyway, he has put in the years that you have to if you're going from a college player to trying to be a coach in the NBA. That being said, one year as an assistant after a few in TV, when you're a hall of famer has been enough for a lot of successful coaches. I think our moves this off season will be geared towards winning more games with a team that's built around a core of Scoot, Shaedon, Tou, Deni and Clingan. So it should be interesting now that we should be trying to win every game, how Chauncey performs.
