I was just chiming in with praise for NO. That's all.
I essentially said "Olshey's able to acquire underrated young players, and not veterans" and then you chimed in with "You gotta give credit to him for acquiring underrated young players"... Hah.

It's all good dude. And on the subject of veterans, I like the young guys we got becoming veterans together.

For sure, but there's bargains to be had. We'd be even better if we had Tyreke Evans or James Johnson, and we could've had either.

Mike Scott is another example. Had 14 points today for Washington on 7/10 shooting. No 3s, but he can stretch the floor too.

Davis and Aminu weren't trash-heap level signings like Tyreke Evans was last year or James Johnson was the year before. Those guys were basically minimum level signings that got signed far after most free agents signed.

IDK man, Davis & Aminu didn't have many suitors to their names.
Portland was their 4th team in 5 years.
I certainly didn't like either signing.

What ever happened to Tyreke Evans? Why did he leave the team? Was he told to leave so that they could tank? We never got an answer there, did we?

Scott was awesome today. He was on that awesome Hawks team a few years ago.

The were journeymen but they could've signed in other places. Pretty much nobody wanted Johnson and Evans. Davis and Aminu commanded around $7M per year contracts before the cap hike. Johnson and Evans were minimum level guys after the cap hike. They're different.

Good for Fultz. Dude looks like a gamer.
Everyone calling him a bust because of that injury bugged me. The dude's ultra-talented. Even if he can't shoot 3s, he can still be a great player. Dude just attacks, attacks, and attacks some more... And he seems to always seems to take the right shot or make the right pass and he's a rookie with around 10 games under his belt. Dude's gonna be a star.

I guess it's better to focus on the players he IS getting us and not the ones he isn't.

Fultz, Simmons, and Embiid all All Stars next season. There. I said it.

Knew an annoying comment was coming sooner or later.

I gave him props for the players he gets us, while also saying I wish he was a little better at being able to acquire undervalued vets.

What's wrong with that?...

Eh I don't see much difference between signing a vet for 7mil or the min.
Then if you take into account the revolving door Miami has been for vet min guys.
It starts to look like #givexachance. Instead of signing an underrated vet and expect them to out produce their contract.

Nothing. Stay calm dude.

If Miami still had LeBron I think they'd be the best team in the East. They have all the right role players (Johnson, Richardson, Olynyk, Winslow, Adebeyo, etc.) with two borderline all-stars (Whiteside, Dragic).. they're just missing that superstar.
I mean, the fact that MIA made it this far with no superstar is just a testament to Spolestra's coaching.

Marcus Morris promise's he won't get any technicals in the playoffs. Remember when Rasheed did the same.

Sucks watching then Celtics and Bucks set up plays to hit threes in the final seconds. Why couldn't we do the same?

All for nothing because Milwaukee seem useless in the overtime. Had the chance to go 107-104 up but Bledsoe missed the easiest jumper ever.

What a bad possession by the Bucks. They took too long when they had plenty of time to get a 2 for 1, and then missed the shot meaning they had to foul
