The fact that one of them is Serbian and the other Croatian never gave you pause?

Aren't those waring countries...or wait they used to be...I think they shook hands some time ago

Since I really don't know--when precisely are the steps supposed to count.

For instance, in this much ballyhooed Giannis one-man fast break, did he travel?

Thats not a travel he dribbled took two steps, jumped off the second and dunked

He literally takes 3 steps.

Now, is it a traveling call in the NBA? No, they don't call that traveling and you're hardly ever going to see that called. Just like the rip through move that Al Jefferson does is a travel every single time. He completely switches his pivot foot on the rip through and it is very easy to see.. but they simply don't call traveling on that move. Both moves are certainly traveling.

He took two steps

I counted six and I'm sticking with my alibi. The last dribble is right after the halfcourt line, then 6 steps.

Its so fast and hard to see...wish there was a slow motion version. I went back and watched it for the third time. Looks like he might have taken 3

Three!!?? You got a blinking problem?

I must. I tried really hard to see more...its to fast...my eyes need slow motion

Hit settings on the video and play it at quarter speed.

The question is when do you begin counting the steps? When he first touches the ball after his last dribble, or when his second hand touches the ball? Makes all the difference in this case.

10. Trail Blazers Zach Collins (F/C) Gonzaga
11. Hornets Malik Monk (G) Kentucky
12. Pistons Luke Kennard (G) Duke
13. Jazz Donovan Mitchell (G) Louisville

Donovan Mitchell scored 42 points tonight.

In regards to the poll question - I voted 'other'.

I don't post on here too often, but I certainly try to visit this forum at least once a day. This site is awesome, and it's because of a ton of great posters. Everyone has a different take, and that's what makes it such a fun read.

The list of posters in the poll is good, but a ton were left off - @Boob-No-More, @HCP, @Mediocre Man, @PtldPlatypus, @Chris Craig, @BlazerCaravan, @Eastoff, @dviss1, @riverman, @julius, @theprunetang, @Sleepwalker, @Orion Bailey , and @jlprk just to name a few. You guys are good entertainment.
Man I tried sending you that $10 thru PayPal and it didn't work FAMS!

Why can't I see this post?

Thanks. Alot easier to see. I begin counting when he first touches the ball after his last dribble. I'm not a referee but I believe you can take steps as long as you keep dribbling the ball. On his last dribble his hand comes off the ball, it bounces in front of him and then he gets it back and clearly takes (now that it is in slow motion ) 3 steps. 3 long gaited steps. So yeah he traveled.

I can see how @jlprk tallies 6 steps if he counts before that after the last dribble before he collects the ball. I think because he was still in the act of dribbling those steps don't coynt against him, and only once he recollected the ball and failed to dribble did his steps count against him meaning he took 3 steps and did indeed travel.

Thanks for posting the street just ssh we know that Donavan Mitchell was, in fact, drafted at number 13. What I do not understand is the listing of unrelated players.

Jordan Bell's line in 16 minutes tonight:
16 points (on 8 of 10 from the field), 4 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 steal and no turnovers.

Not bad, not bad at all.
But just think how good our guy is gonna be in 2 years when he's ready.

Look how good our other guy looked on the inactive list

Fucking homerun, Neil

It's because of the System of the warriors and their great players, if he wouldn't play for the warriors, the stats looked different

lets also not forget Kuzma drafted one spot after Caleb who was just named West Conf rookie of the month with Simmons, sigh

I'm not sure yet about the front end of the draft but it sure looks as if the back end was screwed up. Even if Swanigan turns out OK, that draft was one where a team needed to collect assets. There were so many guys in the second round worth taking a flyer on. If we had too many bigs already, then Leonard should have just been released. It bothers me that MM seems to be a better talent evaluator than Olshey.

What else bothers me to today? Not only are we last in the league in assists and fast breaks, but just read we are also last in charges taken.
