Pretty nice 19 year old to just have stashed away for the future while you contend for a title.
Nah, he’ll get scouted and shut down soon.

You're tripping. Wingspan matters but there is more to defense than standing reach or wingspan. Height is actually important because the length of guys legs comes into play. Lateral movement is limited for shorter guys like Dame, CJ and even Norm. The guys the Knicks start can cover more ground. Also they aren't as easy to see over for passing lanes and to spot the hoop before and during a jumper. If you can't see all of that you need to get a knew prescription for your monocle and maybe just think about it.I hope you aren’t one of the guys claiming wingspan doesn’t matter for one player (Norm) but does matter for others.
Anyway, Thibs said he benched Kemba cuz he couldn’t play that lineup. Then he plays that lineup.
It’s clear as day Kemba was benched for poor play, once again, read Knicks fans and reporters when it happened on Twitter. They saw right thru the BS.

Look at the disparity in minutes between that top lineup and the second one... then notice all of the rest of their big minute lineups... then go back to that second lineup (it's still only got two small guards in it not three!!!). What the hell are you going on about because everyone that follows our team, the Blazers, knows that two small guards that are bad at defense playing a ton of minutes together equals a really bad defense, add in another small guard playing out of position at SF and even though he's a good defender the defense gets even worse.https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/2022/lineups/
Look at the lineup with the second most minutes played.
Hmmm.
If he thinks his starting guards are fucking small I bet you he laughs his ass off at what we're doing."It's a tough decision to make, but you always have to do what you think is best for the team," Thibodeau said that day in explaining his decision. "I view Kemba as a starter, and so it'd be tough to play three small guards together. I gave it consideration, and I've got great respect for who Kemba is as a person and all he's accomplished in this league.“
Here is Thibs, TONIGHT, saying he views Kemba as a STARTER “and so it would be tough to play 3 small guards together” —- once again saying the other guards in his current starting lineup are SMALL.
Cmon guys.
For the 10 BILLIONTH time, Thibs is the one saying his guards are small. NOT me.Look at the disparity in minutes between that top lineup and the second one... then notice all of the rest of their big minute lineups... then go back to that second lineup (it's still only got two small guards in it not three!!!). I have no idea why you're using the Knicks as an example when they play such big lineups almost all of the time. Check this fucking list that you posted again... it looks like they've literally never played with three small guards at the same time this season... correct me if I'm wrong.
Fair enoughFor the 10 BILLIONTH time, Thibs is the one saying his guards are small. NOT me.
Ok, I never argued whether they were actually small or not.If he thinks his starting guards are fucking small I bet you he laughs his ass off at what we're doing.
I’ve been posting since the O Live days.L
You understand people stop replying or acknowledging you because of how you type. I’ve said this to you before. Why are you so god damn mad at everybody? You’re too new here bro to be coming out swinging at people every post. Nobody gives a fuck about the Knicks. Lighten up Francis.
Knicks lost thoughI hope you aren’t one of the guys claiming wingspan doesn’t matter for one player (Norm) but does matter for others.

Simons’ start actually did mean something. Got us the 3 seed and paved the way for first WCF in 19 years.Anfernee Simons first start:
13-21, 7-11 from 3, 6 boards, 9 assists and 37 points.
That start, much like Kumingas, means nothing.

Oh Boy.... That made me laugh.Knicks lost though

I said Thibs said they were small guards and Wiz went off.
And apparently HCP too.
Maybe they should have a convo with Thibs.
And it had nothing to do with our lineup.
Thibs called them small, again, yesterday.the Knicks have 3 small guards...Kemba, Rose, and Quickley. That's who he was talking about when he said he didn't think he should play 3 small guards. Go thru your 5 man lineup pages and see if you can find any that had those 3 starting. You're free to believe that Thibs thinks Burks, Fournier, and Barrett are "small guards". I'm free to believe you're being ridiculous if you do

@wizenheimer ??? This was YESTERDAY!
And?
i don’t care if they lost or not.
this isn’t about their record
This is about someone, incorrectly, trying to call me stupid for saying Thibs called his guards small.
if I directly called you stupid, I'd apologize for that.
I just do not believe Thibs thinks Barrett, Burks, and Fournier are "small guards". If he does, he'd be about the only person in the NBA who believes 6'6-6'7 is small
Evan Fournier 6-7
Alec Burks 6-6
RJ Barrett 6-6
he took Kemba out of the rotation while leaving Rose and Quickly in. That made it pretty clear what he was thinking

Interesting. Seems like we are lucky to have Dame as a leader. At the end of the article it talks about the poor communication between teammates and staff.Interesting comment:
One of the reasons for the decline in effort and attention to detail on defense has been players’ opinions about how they’re being utilized on offense. The Athletic asked Unseld about that issue Saturday after the Wizards’ shootaround in Salt Lake City.

Lakers had a chance to win in Chicago tonight. Late in the game, LeBron posted up Caruso, got both feet in the paint and tried to force a pass to the corner which got knocked out off the Lakers. On the last play, down 2, they let Westbrook take the ball. He attacked Vucevic off a switch and was short on a short, contested jumper.
I wish we could bring him back. I’d approve of RoLo for NurkWhile we're doing this: Robin Lopez All Star!!!!
