Was inadvertent
So? It's still a flagrant one. He led with his elbow and forearm.
The NBA set the precedent you couldn't lead like that a couple years ago.
side note:
I just read a story that the Wolves players were laughing and screwing around while they were putting him on a stretcher too... What in the world is wrong with them...

You think he wanted to knock Noel out? Was a bang bang play.
I totally don't think he was intentionally going for the head shot, but the play they tossed carmelo out last year against the Blazers, I don't think he was either, I thnk he was trying to make contact to get an and one. This one was more egregious to me, even if he didn't "mean too".

BTW, Wiggins looks like the guy that is worth 140 mil tonight

not watching that game, but the +/-'s are weird. They're down by 1 right now. All the starters have a - except towns who is +1. The bench has Saric at +20 Tolliver at +14, and Jones at +10...
I know the +/- stat has flaws I just think it's interesting.

Doesn't look to me as if the collision is what did it. I think the damage was done when his temple bounced off the floor!
In terms of getting knocked out I agree. I just think the precedent is leading with your elbow into someone's head is a flagrant. I was surprised they called just a foul on noel. Though he did clearly didn't have position and jumped in the way. Wiggins in my opinion at least not just hit him in the head but followed through with his elbow.

I wonder if this is a case where the league office will review? After leading with the elbow, Wiggins doesn't deserve to just walk away.

Maybe? I mean the most important part is that I hope the Noel's healthy. I just feel like wiggins' whether he meant to "hurt" him or not, that play where you lead with your forearm and elbow into a guys head is dangerous. I hope they review it.

Man I feel like the resident counter argument today, but that really didnt look malicious to me. Was an offensive foul, but i saw no ill intent by Wiggins. Was a basketball play. A stupid one, but regardless

I hope we hear some good news about Noel though. Still nothing.

Im not trying to argue with you, sorry. I guess in some ways I agree with you that it didnt look malicious, or like he meant too.

I just have a different opinion on if that should be a flagrant or not.

They've been very clear. It's a flagrant if you hit the guy's head. Intent doesn't matter..

Looked to me like the elbow concussed him. That’s why his body went limp, and he didn’t even try to break his fall.

You're 2.5 hours late posting this as that's when it was first mentioned in this thread.
Dinner with my wife.
Sent a handful of emails out trying to land some summer off season work.
Picked my son up from rehabbing his broken leg.
Car pooled my daughter and friends to soccer training.
Watched the OKC/Minny game.
Just sat down and looked at Twitter for the first time in 3 hours.

Sorry man. Maybe I should get my life priorities in check.

Really @HCP? You can't take a little ribbing tonight? I thought you were better than that.
