...... Other than Love, what do the Knicks or Cavs have to offer that would induce the Suns to part with Bledsoe?

Suns want to upgrade at PG. Have for a few seasons now.
They WON'T part with Booker or Chriss unless its for a super stud.

They also have a young, Brandon Knight sitting pine behind Bledsoe. I think Knight the better leader.
I could only see Suns involvement if they are getting Kyrie Irving. They could give up Bender and Bledsoe. Still have Irving, Booker, Jackson, Chriss, Len.

Wasn't it John Barry who went off on how it was a disaster for the league when Portland drafted Oden and Seattle drafted Durant? Or was that Screamin A Smith?

Screaming A Smith "Portland doesn't know what its doing!!" But I think it was the 2006 draft with Aldridge and Roy and 6 trades.

We are so lucky to have two all star players that want to be here. Everybody bitches in this forum a lot, including me but god damn are we lucky and that kyrie irving shit just made me feel it

That was definitely Smith. I'm talking about the Oden draft. One or both of those guys went on and on about how it was bad for the league to have Oden and Durant on the west coast, specifically the PNW

When Hayward left SLC, I knelt down to my "Shrine O' Dame" and thanked my lucky stars. Our unique position of having players who actually feel a connection to this town is not lost on me.

I agree, but there's the question of what the Suns get out of the deal. The rumor I saw was Love plus the rights to Frank Ntilikina. Other than Love, what do the Knicks or Cavs have to offer that would induce the Suns to part with Bledsoe?

This was the suggestion I saw from Bill Simmons, which I thought was actually quite good:

Knicks get: Kyrie, Shump's deal
Suns get: Ntilinka, Frye's expiring
Cavs get: Melo, Bledsoe, NYK 2018 1st

A good (and cheap) prospect plus and expiring is decent value for Bledsoe, who has never made the jump to star-caliber and is expensive. Especially for a rebuilding team.

Throughout 2016-17, only 4 players added value in every offensive play type: Kevin Durant, C.J. McCollum, Danilo Gallinari and Bradley Beal. pic.twitter.com/icWCaLBhZv" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">pic.twitter.com/icWCaLBhZv" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">pic.twitter.com/icWCaLBhZv" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">pic.twitter.com/icWCaLBhZv

I'd like to see Aminu more at SF. Everything is a PnR anyhow so he gets switched off onto a guard anyhow. I'd like to see a bigger lineup that can defend versus 'smalls' out there so often. If that means Turner more at SG backing up CJ with CJ playing PG with Dame in a 3-man rotation, I'm good with that. The whole Crabbe/Turner/Aminu/Harkless thing needs to be thinned out anyhow.

I've been saying it for a while but turner should be our back up pg. keep cj at the two. Harkless aminu and layman can cover the three.
SwNnigan vonleh at the four. Nurk Davis at the five with Collins as a floater.
Turner can switch off to cover the sg or sf based on matchups but turner and crabbe should be able to stop most benches backcourts and then some.

Dame/turner/Napier
Cj/Crabbe/connaughton
harkless/aminu/layman
vonleh/Swannigan/Leonard
nurk/Davis/Collins

I think we should have strict five man rotations. Lesson the minutes on our stars and let the second unit play together as one for he most part. I think that second unit migh compete with the best benches in the league if swannigan works out.

While the Blazers are stuck in the youth movement and Developing ( Seems like for a decade now.) The Wolves are Wheeling and dealing trying to build a contender.

You are aware that the Timberwolves have pretty much been in rebuild mode for most of this century, right?

Where is Tuner?

That'll be funny when one of these guys busts an ankle on the curb doing dumb things like this.

Admittedly though, if you could make that trade, Irving on this Timberwolves team could be great. Towns and Butler are top class players, they still have some decent assets they could trade to get Irving - Wiggins would almost have to be offered, and he would be a good piece for Cavaliers to take back, and they'd probably throw in Dieng for salary matching purposes. Out of all linked teams Timberwolves can put up the best package IMO. Even if they offer Wiggins, they can play Butler at small forward and have a duo of Teague and Irving in the backcourt. Irving/Teague/Butler/Gibson/Towns is a top 4 line up in the West.

So are you benching wiggins or is he going be part of the trade?
