Next year, Nic Batum is gonna make an all-star team while Damian Lillard won't.

Another star goes from the East to the West. Damn, need to re-seed the Playoffs because possibly 7 0f the best 9 teams will be in the West.

If you thought the East was a cakewalk for Lebron and The Cavs before.........

Who are the eight teams that make the playoffs this season?

Cavs
Celtics
Wizards
Heat
Bucks
Hornets
Raptors? Are they still a playoff team if Lowry leaves?
Sixers? Is a Fultz, Embiid, Simmons and Saric enough to lead them to the post season? Or will The Pistons or The Bulls with Wade enough to get in?

Crabbes contract isn't looking terrible with these deals going down....

Which deals? Teague, a starter who averaged 15.3/4.0/7.8 with a PER = 19.2 gets $55 million/4 years and Crabbe, a bench player who averaged 10.7/2.9/1.2 with a PER = 11.6 got $75 million/4 years. Joe Ingles, who is every bit the shooter Crabbe is, but a better rebounder, a better passer and a MUCH better defender getting $60 million/4 years.

Sure the superstars are getting ridiculous contracts, but if you look at role players, there are guys a lot better than Crabbe getting a lot less. If anything, this year's signings are making last summer's, including Crabbe, Turner, Parsons, Noah, Mozgov, etc. look even worse in hindsight.

That has to mean goodbye iggy

If they intend to stay under the luxury tax this year, as some speculated, then yeah. If they don't care about the luxury tax, then they can bring him back too. As I said in another post, I'd guess that the sticking point--if there is one--is number of years. But then, this deal with Livingston crosses the magical two-year threshold, so maybe not.

Heat, Bucks, Sixers, and Wizards will improve on last year.

NBA needs to have the option to decide one of the following for each season: Tradition system, or let in 8 teams from reach conference but seed them all 1-16.

8th seed in the West next year will probably be better than the 5th seed in the East.

So who are your eight? Are the Raptors still a playoff team if Lowry leaves? Are the Bulls still with Wade there? Do the Pistons get in this year?
