I bet there are Celtics fans who disagree with you. If he does score Hayward, he still didn't get Paul George, and he seems to be stockpiling assets and whiffing on all the big names. And I have a feeling that not taking Fultz is going to come back to haunt him. The only reason trading the pick that turned into Roy for Sebastian Telfair didn't come back to haunt him is because he lucked into Rondo in the same draft. (Yeah, I know, you could equally well paint him as a genius for getting Rondo at 21, but then why trade for Telfair?)

I was thinking the same thing about Fultz. To a certain extent it reminds me of us passing on CP3 because we had Telfair. Obviously Thomas is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than Telfair was, but I am not sold on Thomas at all. Would you rather have Curry or Thomas? Would you rather have Westbrook or Thomas? I could very easily see Fultz in that same discussion.

Fultz looks good. But tatum was pretty impressive yesterday too. I think they will be more than ok.

I wonder if it's because the Jazz didn't want to give him the max on his current contract. They made him go to the fucking Bobcats to sign that deal and only then they decided to match it.

I seriously doubt that.

why would he be upset, cmon Gordon, act like adult and make the decision already
youre great player, but youre really not LBJ, Kawhi, Durant, Curry...

You think that would stop any NBA player? Who is out of the house probably 90% of the time? If you're going to be sexist, at least think it through.
I think it was a joke but still all this bs implying his wife won't be happy with her life if he doesn't go to Miami talk is BS. She has a lot to be happy for. An NBA player who's a great husband, beautiful kids, financially set for life.

Come on man. Most of us have been saying dude will take his wifes opinion into consideration in his decision and that it's not just his career anymore.

That doesnt mean he wont pick Boston or Utah.

It would be funny if he went back to Utah now instead.

Robyn was with Gordon even before he became NBA player, so Im pretty sure it will be his decision, he might ask her for opinion, but I thnik shed say like: Its your decision and I support whatever you decide

Am i wrong thinking that:
Prime Wesley Matthews > Gordon Hayward
?
I'd agree with that. I've never been that impressed by Hayward. If my team got him I wouldn't suddenly think "Contender!"

The other reason is: Wesley's an elite role player. He's the epitome of 3-and-D. Hayward's a low-level star. Now it might sound that star beats role player every time, but great role players are more useful than low-level stars - a low level star is the best player on an average team. Kind of like Shareef Abdur-Rahim.

That sucks for us because if Hayward was on our team he could be our best player.
