The Spurs' cult rolls on. Players drink the special drink and lose interest in money, just the glory of The Franchise. It wouldn't surprise me if the Spurs find a way to open up cap space to add Chris Paul, without losing anyone important. I guess teams are rising to Silver's challenge of building more superteams!

I agree on both, but the Suns can put together a reasonable package around the #4. I find it hard to believe that they'll continue pursuing a Love deal now that Porzingis is potentially available,

If they hope to keep Paul and add LeBron James in 2018 (assuming there's real fire to that smoke), they'll need to clear space. Griffin and Redick leaving isn't enough.

Yeah, it's a good move for the Nets, IMO. Some of the shine is off Russell, but he's not a lost cause yet.

I think the main reason for this deal is to dump Mozgov's contract. Lopez is a fine player, but he is expiring. The 27th pick helps curb the value between Russell and dropping Mozgov's contract.
