Did you just pull that one out of your ass? It's like you have no clue who we just traded for. It's like you haven't done any research or seen him play before he put on scarlet and black. Nurkic doesn't have nor has never had problems defending the pick-and-roll. You just made that up after looking at his height and weight huh? One of his strengths is being extremely light on his feet.
We'll see next year "bruh". If you think teams aren't going to scout him and exploit his weaknesses next year you're fucking crazy. Nurk's a good player, but you're making him out to be the next coming of Wilt Chamberlain. As I say, though, we'll see next year.

And why did you take my comment so personally? Are you that insecure? Is Nurkic paying you? Are you his agent?

A lot of people on this forum last off-season weren't buying the Utah hype either. In fact, they were downright scornful of any analyst who picked Utah to finish ahead of Portland.

Everyone on this forum could probably stand to be a bit less absolutely 100% certain about their opinions. (I am part of this forum.)

Oh I'm sure Dame is jumping to conclusions like many on this forum.

Well. I will say one thing about Dame. He may keep his mouth shut regarding player acquisition. But say he wanted somebody gone? Then he'd make like Isaiah Thomas in a heart beat. He does have that kind of pull. If we had an Adrian Dantley situation... bye bye!

Thibs with 'his guys' in Butler and Gibson, and a competent scoring threat at guard in Teague, should have a pretty big impact on that team. On paper that's a lot of fucking talent.
I'm not convinced the chemistry will be there.

Grow up you little shit.

Not sure what your issue is rook but...

Learn the game then post.

Edit: Because you did just pull that one outta your ass. Of course teams are going to scout his weaknesses. Shit, they'd better! He's gonna be bustin' shit up next season! Do you need a beard, Captain's hat, and a red blazer?

Then you double down on the stupidity of your argument by creating a false narrative to argue against. Wilt Chamberlain?? Really?

Then you make yourself look like more of an ass putting my bruh in quotes, proving that a) you don't know me and b) you got your panties balled up over nothing.

Again, learn the game then post.

If he really wanted someone gone they would be gone. Dame believes in his teammates.

Dame I see good at keeping his mouth shut until he's had enough. Took him forever at the first half of the season to say the team sucked and he obviously held that in. Cj and him have only been campaigning for a free agent for a while now. They obviously want some extra talent. I just wonder how long it takes till dames had enough. I believe he is loyal. But how long will it take for him to finally just say something or scare the blazers into doing something? I mean I don't know maybe I'm wrong and this season will be great but I just feel like we are in for another mediocre season of bitching about Meyers, complaining about the inconsistency of moe, crabbe, turner, etc. with of course trade cj and dame threads

Dame and CJ were quite vocal Twitter-wise in advocating for George and to a lesser extent, Butler.

I didn't see either one say a single thing about Butler. They spoke about Porzingis and PG when people specifically asked them questions about who they would want.

Millsap is huge for the Nuggets and seems a great fit next to Jokic. I suppose they dont bring back Gallo and they go with Chandler as the starter. If they get Hill too its really scary in my opinion because his off ball ability makes him a great fit too.

I am not scared of Denver. They are a good team but a 32-year old Millsap at $30M a year is not that brilliant business IMO. He's actually going to turn 33 before the regular season even ends, and I won't be surprised if he's declining significantly in the next 1-2 season. George Hill would IMO be more important for them but even then, they have Mudiay and Murray who they need to develop in the same position. I still think for them the most important part for the next 3-4 seasons is develop Murray, Harris and Jokic.

Mudiay is done, they are looking to trade him while Murray will be the primary backup which is what he should be in a team targeting the offseason.

The problem for us is that even a declining Millsap is a really huge acquisition for them if you compare him to Faried. He is a big upgrade over someone that just rebounds the ball and catches lobs. Millsap doesn't have to be on All Star level to be useful. Harris-Jokic getting better by the day too. Harris must be one of the most underrated wings in the league. If they get Hill too then I suppose next season we don't even reach the offseason. That's my opinion at least if we don't make any moves.

Yeah, I am far from convinced we will make playoffs next season to be honest. None of the teams who finished above us except Clippers are getting worse. Utah will get worse if Hayward leaves but that's a big if at this point. And Clippers without Paul and Redick will be considerably worse but if Griffin stays fit, they are still quite good.

Below us, New Orleans are going to be much better than last season because Cousins and Davis will have got more time together. Minnesota will be absolute miles better with Butler, Teague and Gibson. Denver will be considerably better. Even Dallas will be better than last season with Noel having had 6 months at the team and Smith probably being a better point guard than any of their last seasons options.

We basically threw away any chance of being competitive in free agency for the next 3 years last year with our moves. I don't buy 'there was no choice' attitude.

BTW out of curiosity, what's the benefit of extending a player year early like we did with CJ? Even if he accepts another offer next season, he's a RFA so you can match it and keep him. What's really the danger of not giving him that deal a year early, especially if you can trust that player to stick with you anyway (like CJ would and Dame would also have done last season)?

haha hes crazy, man I love his trash talk
theres rivalry coming between POR & DEN, thanks to Nurk and salty DEN fans

but I feel sorry for DEN fans that dont understand, trash talk is all NBA thing, its what makes this sport more interesting and entertaining, nothing personal...

its two way street, thats how it works
