Monta Ellis agreeing on a buyout with the Pacers. I'm not a huge fan, but he's instant offense and would be great off the bench. If we could shuffle the deck a little bit and land him for cheap, that would be coup.

is Sheed a free agent? Lambeer? I "feel the need" for a new big man coach for developing rookies, nurk and the rest. honestly would consider it a satisfying summer if our only upgrade was an awesome big man coach.

Rather have him than Crabbe.

I just want to clarify, on behalf of the married men out there, that taking the wife's wishes into consideration when making major life decisions that affect the family isn't based on fear, but on love. It's not about whether or not there will be fallout if she doesn't like Boston. It's about how much happier it makes him to see her wake up with a smile on her face because she loves the Florida sun in January; it's about the chance to take the kids to Miami beach during an off day in the middle of a home stand; it's about a million little things that make better the lives of the people that mean more to him than his career ever can or will.

I'm not saying that he definitely chooses Miami, or even that it's where anyone in his family wants to be. What I am saying is that the weight he gives to where his wife would like their family to live has nothing to do with her having "his nuts in her purse", and anyone who has ever been married would understand that.

Or that guy has his nuts in their wife's purse, but wants to portray like they don't to other people.

if we got him I wouldn't be mad...but we really do need a guard coming off the bench with defense

Or they don't. And they actually care about what their wife wants, like it's the 21st century or something like that.

I don't think you understood my post.

Most guys that I know that are married want to portray to other people like they "have balls" and give other people shit who have wives that dictate most of what they do. When in reality, behind closed doors the complete opposite is true.

Whaaat? Miami has holes all over. Utah is pretty complete. Imo at least

With so much talent leaving an already weaker conference.
There is no chance the Heat aren't at the very least a top 6 seed out there without Haywood. If he joins I'd put them top 3.
But I'm not as high on the Bucks as everyone else is.
I was one of the only people on this forum who knew the Bucks would lose to the Geko's in the playoffs also.
This forum was very against me for saying that as well lol.

West, I can't say Utah is a top 4 seed.
GSW
Rockets
Spurs
Portland
OKC

I'd say if these 5 teams stay healthy they're all better than Utah with Haywood.

Haha i know what you mean. I've seen marriages like that too. Not cool.

Is Dragic/Waiters/Hayward/Johnson/Whiteside really worse than Thomas/Bradley/Crowder/Johnson/Horford which made ECF this year? I really don't think it is. Whether they manage to keep Waiters and Johnson is a big if though, I think one could stay as they will have no space under the cap for both if Hayward comes.

Of course. Just like most Blazers fans, They like to think Portland is a top 4 seed. Just like before the start of last season.

Should I have said no specific order?
I don't remember saying Portland was a top 4 seed last year.

Only reason why I think they're a top 4 seed this year is because Portland always wins the season series against the zombie sonics.
If you'd like me to be a homer I could say Portland is the #2 seed because CP3 is going to have an aneurysm playing with Har_en and Carmemelol.

Also, I think most Blazer fans are down on the team this year. They think they'll struggle to make the playoffs.
At least that's the general consensus I've been reading on this forum starting on the 1st.

Well, hopefully that assistant GM who's been running things is a talented guy, because he may get the job a lot longer than expected. (I didn't see this news posted earlier, even though it broke earlier--if it was already posted, apologies.)

I think we'll be better than most fans think.

I also don't understand why people are shocked we aren't doing anything in free agency.
I have a funny feeling we're going to do some things to make it possible to sign George Hill...:crystalball:

Because me and a few other people have said 5-6th seed, and some have even said 8.

You can stop having a confirmation bias and join reality anytime.

I just think a full year with Nurkic is going to be the difference. If he stays healthy, he was legitimate cog in what we did and players fed off his energy and confidence.

I'm hoping we can get Boston to take back Turner via trade.

Neil needs some wicked voodoo to rid this contract.

Like move every single player that we have?

We could trade CJ for future picks, then find buyers for Crabbe, Leonard, Harkless and Turner. And end up with a Lillard back up.

Whatever happened with Chase Budinger? He showed glimpses of being a pretty damn good NBA player and then got hurt and it seems like I haven't seen him play in about 3 years.

Played in Euroleague this year and didn't look good.

He's in Europe.
