Russ has become so pathetic, I was actually happy for him when he hit that game-tyer.

He was also in the back hallway in SLC the other night. Also in Indy 2 weeks ago.

Russ definitely had a run there. MVP for a reason. His game has always been based on pure athleticism and will power. So, seeing a drop in production is not unheard of. It is just entropy working in it's slow uncaring fashion. Doesn't discredit anything Russ has done as a player. But, he is definitely on the way out. Especially with the jump shot, and waning athleticism.

No doubt. You’ve seen it with big men all the time. Gotten as far as they have solely on their size and athleticism. Never needed to pick up any real basketball skills. Once those knees go, it’s over.

Makes me glad I'm an unathletic skinny dude, cause me knees are still smooth as silk at 39.

Yeah, not gonna happen. When their heads are screwed on straight, the Pelicans have been great with CJ. Lakers are awful. Wouldn't be surprised if Lakers slipped out of the play-in and won the lottery.
