Wizards lookin good with Porzingis. Brooklyn could miss the play-in. They were #1 about month or so ago.

And that entire stretch consisted of no Durant and no/sulking Harden. With Durant looking like his old self, Kyrie able to play more than every other game, and the possible addition of Simmons, I don't think you'd find anyone [sane] willing to bet on them missing the play-in.

You actually took the energy to reply to that dude?

Got Cleveland LeBron and SA Duncan.
Oh please. Which player is LeBron or Duncan in this draft? Don't worry the Blazers might have chances in the next 2 or 3 drafts as well? Oh wait? Do they have picks?

There's a simple fact that you're neglecting. The higher our pick is the better of an asset it is. If we are keeping the player we pick then the higher the pick the larger the field of players we're choosing from, so the better chance that we get the guy highest on our draft board. If we're trading the pick, it just has more valuable the higher we get it. So what's more important, securing a better asset or playing our best players because of some made up moral code that no one else in the league cares to follow?

There isn't a Duncan or LeBron in this draft in the way that they were seen as can't miss prospects that in retrospect panned out but there are two guys in Jabari and Paolo that project to have a floor of being borderline all stars and a ceiling of being all nba/MVP caliber players. I'm sure there are guys in this draft as well that are being overlooked just like there are in every draft.

Yeah I can understand that option. I can also agree that this might be the best way to go?
Let’s hope it works out like that.

It sucks that Jarrett Allen broke his finger and is out a while but looking at the bright side, they play the Pacers tomorrow and maybe that gives the Pacers a chance to pick up a win, they also play the Pistons in a couple of weeks but he may be back by then. If he's not I would think that would be another win for the Pistons.

Up 11 in the 3rd, Kings "king" it again, have been outscored 22-6 over the last 6 minutes. Sigh...

Jokic or Embiid? Who is your MVP? Both playing great.

i can't watch more of our shit, man. need sac to win some games right about now.

they're playing all their guys too.

Wow they really are kinging the shit out of this one.

bad news is the Kings are losing; good news is the Knicks are winning

tank runs in both directions

i just glanced at SAC's schedule.

i don't think we catch them. think they might win 4 more games, and that's being generous.

we're 2.5 ahead of them, so our tank has to roll on if we want better odds.

for fucks sake, this shit is so damn painful.

We can catch them! Look at the lineups we're playing. There was a bright side to Sac's loss tonight - some were worried that the Knicks were tanking. They've won two in a row, on the road.

Durant and Kyrie have been playing lately and they still lose. Kyrie missing games has been his fault. Simmons won't be back for weeks. Nets could easily miss the play-in.

So when you're trying to have a better record than a team you look at the amount of losses between your team and theirs. In this case we look at the amount of wins. They only have 1 more win than we do. So they just have to win two more games than we do and I really don't think they're trying as hard to lose as we are.

Edit: We only have one more win than they do.

That 4 game win streak before the all star break was so unnecessary

Holy shit! Why isn't anyone talking about this??

Kings with the epic Kings meltdown. This was a good chance for them to pick up a win.
Blazers are 2.5 games ahead of them, but only 1 up in the win column. Their next 6 games brutal and they could easily lose them all. After that, they play a 4 in 5 game stretch that includes IND, ORL, HOU, HOU, although all of those are on the road.
