in less than 5 years he's gone from league MVP to this. Has there ever been such a steep decline in reputation?

You have to wonder about the effect that LBJ has on ball-dominant PGs. I mean Kyrie walked away from LBJ after winning a championship....that is how much he hated playing with him. Now you have Westbrook playing his worst in his career...not that we didn't see that combo struggling. Much like Jordan and Kobe, some superstars are better off alongside a Steve Kerr or a Derek Fisher.

He's similar to Harden in that during big time playoff games, cant hit the big one. Of course he's not even in the same ball park as a shooter versus Harden.
He's always been a bit of a stat padder, imo.

I think it's a bigger issue than that. Jordan played off the ball a lot, and Kobe to a similar extent being in the same offense. What I see happening in the 2000s, possibly starting with Iverson, is the trend toward ball-dominant scorers, not just PGs. Derek Rose was perhaps the pinnacle of that trend, in his MVP year. But guys like Harden and Doncic, and I hate to say it, Dame, are carrying the torch. They ensure a team is always competitive, but it's tough for anyone else to thrive. So, you end up with a lot of bridesmaid teams, unless they can assemble overwhelming talent like LeBron a couple times.

Karl Towns with a virtuoso performance. 56 pts in 3 quarters. Absolutely killing the Spurs.

I assume we shouldn't get too excited about the Kings being up 13 on the Bulls...?

Curry with 47 points at the age of 34. Hopefully Dame can play on that Level too at that age

Too bad it's a 30 point game, would have enjoyed seeing him score 80!

They’re like 12-1? 13-1? something like that without Ja Morant.

But anyway, the point is. They should be good in the playoffs. They’re a very, very good team as evidenced by their record without Ja. Teams can’t just key in on him like they do Dame … because it’s been proven that even without Ja, they’re still an elite team.

And yes, Ja is very good.
Lol Grizz blowout Pacers without Ja tonight. Not helping my argument.

Thank you Suns for the win and shutting off Antonio Daniels mouth . That guy is annoying to listen

I wonder when the last time was that two NBA players scored 60 points on back to back nights. Has it ever happened?
