Damn, too much Derick Rose. The Pacers should have backed off him, TRIED to keep him from penetrating and forced him to be a jump shooter. Easier said than done (especially with the refs giving him EVERY call), but he was 0-9 from 3-point range. Back off him by 3 or 4 feet and cut him off when he tries to penetrate. Once he gets below the FT line, it's over. He either makes it all the way to the rim (if the help defense gets there too late), gets the whistle if there is any hint of contact, or finds the open shooter when the help defense cuts him off. That three by Korver was huge, and it was created by Rose penetrating and collapsing the defense.

How many teams are kicking themselves in the ass for underestimating Psycho T and what 4 full years of high-level college basketball can prepare a player for?

Not many, I'm guessing. He's okay, still not a very good player, and limited upside from here.

People like KingSpeed don't understand because they think there's nothing wrong with Starfucking.

Is this trolling/baiting? Since chrisinpdx was one of the MIXUM Moral Majority, I'm just wondering.

Anyhow, Rose with 19 made FT attempts, an NBA playoff record. So much for 'letting them play' in the post-season. Stern has another superstar, and small markets like Indy get fucked because of it.

This series is over.

Boozer plays Kevin Love-esque defense!

For the Bulls to advance D-Rose will have to continue to score 35+.

sportsguy33: Total FT attempts today with all 4 teams playing equally hard: 71 (Miami/Chicago), 32 (Indy/Philly). That's embarrassing.

This is what worries me about the POR/DAL series.

It gets to the point of, why do we even watch anymore?

Dwight Howard has 30/7 just before the half. Crazy.

Miami and Chicago have players that attack the hoop. Its how you get to the line.

Really? Their best player is a soft 7-footer whose go to move is a fade away jumper.

For the regular season, Dallas was 27th in the league with 1850 FTA. Right ahead of the Blazers, 28th at 1835 FTA. I don't see the refs giving either team a lot of love.

Best fans in the NBA!

^That's the same amount that show up for HOME games!

Spurs at 45 FTA. Still 2 minutes left to get to 50!!!

So fucking obvious. What a joke.

Grizz.... 4 straight FT misses!!!!!

HOLY SHIT! The Red Rocket bombin' from downtown!

Memphis falling apart......

They aren't falling apart, they are coming back to Earth. It's tough to win on the road when the home team gets 50 FTA while playing from behind most of the second half.

Can somebody please explain that to me and not include some sort of conspiracy? Because if it's just "well, the home team gets those calls", why did Atlanta outshoot Orlando from the line yesterday?

It is basic FAMS. The team that takes it to the hoop and plays inside-out, gets more calls......... errr........ except yesterday here in Dallas!

Jefferson with the CLANK.

Remember all of the posters who wanted him as a Blazer?

Maybe Portland should've tanked.
