Dude has been all soccer for the last several years, this is really out of the blue.

Nash could be the next Steve Kerr or the next Ty Lue. We'll see.

Gonna need a strong associate coach like Gentry... Nash/Vaughn seems like a bad mix.

they need to change this rule about fouls to give. this actually puts OKC at a disadvantage because they didn't foul earlier. They should have the choice to remove that FTG.
why do you want to change so many established rules that are never an actual problem?
This and extra fouls in OT are ridiculous

This is some Jeff Van Gundy shit man. I'm not saying it's stupid or anything it's just funny when situationally people decide rules should be changed and those people like JVG usually want a ton of rule changes. It's just really hilarious to me, it makes me enjoy JVG's commentary more actually. If I had my way the game would stay just how it is and teams would just have to learn to play around it... I'm not saying I'm some purist that thinks we should go back to having no three pointers or anything I just think that a team should either be in the penalty or bonus (depending on which team's perspective) or they shouldn't be, the time of the game shouldn't have anything to do with it. I actually don't even love the last two minutes thing too much but whatever, the rule is there. For what it's worth I do have a little Van Gundy in me too, I don't think there should be any defensive three seconds or illegal defense, teams should be able to play zone if they want to. I do however support offensive three in the key violations.
lol comparing me to JVG is a compliment, i think. no?

The rockets will get swept unless they can get one like we did

we had nobody to guard AD or stop them on the boards and we have Nurk and Whiteside. The rockets have pj tucker. They will get dominated

This series is a war.

Edit: FML

My heart can't take this holy shit

I'm not trolling, this is an honest question. How did the Raptors lose their best player and still wind up so much better than we are?

The Clips are a problem. I don’t see the Lakers beating them.

Charles Barkley just said James Harden is the only player in the NBA that can go one on five at the top of the key and get a shot off every time.

Where is @AldoTrapani to drool and fawn over MPJ and Denver today???
Dude it doesn't matter that MPJ wasn't on tonight because if @AldoTrapani was on here he would be talking about, "damn why can't we ever get a guy like Kawhi, he's so much better than anything we've ever got, this team is so shitty." Believe me his negativity is unrelenting... or relentless, I'm not sure why both of those words exist.

When i was watching that game i actually thought the same thing and came to the same conclusion.

They were already arguably better without Kawhi last year. The higher winning percentage may not have been sustainable without him in the playoffs, but their offense flowed better when he was off the court, so I'm not surprised other guys have elevated their games this year in his absence. Kawhi is a phenomenal player, but he's not great for ball movement.

I can't really compare the two teams since I don't follow PDX closely enough to know about the franchise's other elements, but I can explain why Toronto has improved year-after-year for about seven seasons.

Toronto has been good since they hired Masai Ujiri, who changed the culture of the team since he arrived in 2013. Full stop.
