This is how you instate a mandate without explicitly doing so. If players are still not vaccinated after these rules, they're just a-holes at this point. Beal was talking about how the team would provide the resources for the unvaccinated yesterday, ignoring that fact that he's putting all of them at risk.

Read Anthony Davis is committed to playing more minutes at the center position.

About time, he was giving LMA vibes for a while.

Will the lakers finish ahead of our Blazers this season?

Actually I hadn't thought of that comparision yet.... I expect the Lakers to be under their 51 wins and seemingly national consensus as west favorites. Blazers should be over their 44 wins and have more talk as team that with a few lucky breaks can compete in the west. However the Blazers do have some very real risk as well, they certainly aren't a favorite to contend.

If one of Bron or Davis miss significant time the Lakers will have a losing record, they just aren't deep enough. We saw that last year the Lakers couldn't stand injuries to those guys and barely made the playoffs; then in the summer they lost three good role players in KCP, Kuzma, Harrell for only Russ resulting in even less depth. Their vet min signing are fine, but those guys are not starter/6th man quality as they had on their title team.

If Dame misses time the Blazers might be able to scrape by with a near .500 record. They still would have five top100 SI players while the Lakers would have only one plus Russ.

So to answer your question; I say if Bron and Davis play every game without limitations the Lakers would be a few wins better than the Blazers; but I think odds are against that so I'd pick the Blazers to finish better.

As the season goes on I think the Lakers change their goals to "lets get healthy for the playoffs and make our stand there, even as a low seed". The Blazers will have more to prove in the regular season and more players that can deliver over 82 games.

Great breakdown bro. The thing that worries me the most is Nurks health. His backup has a history of injuries as well. I just don’t see us winning more than 41 games this season for a few reasons. Unproven coach, maybe the smallest lineup in the league again. A loss of proven vet savvy scoring scoring off our bench. We can’t be worse on defense, so we’ll see. Should be interesting.

They offered me 30% off the league pass that renewed and I accepted. $140 isn’t too bad considering I will use it

so for those who have league pass, how often are Blazer games done by the Blazers broadcasting, vs the opponent?

you can pick your broadcast; both are offered

That's awesome. I've been a customer for nearly a decade and never got that kinda offer.

You can choose which one to watch. But why would you even consider watching the Blazers feed. It’s HORRIBLE compared to other teams remember?

I hear they have jerks who run the replays.

So would you have to pick a non Portland zip code to get the Blazer games if you buy it?

I bet the Lakers would be happy to swap Russ for him. (Unless he and LeBron have burned their bridges.)

I'd be more worried about the lingering resentment between KD and Westbrick. Irving has threatened to retire if traded, so that solves that problem!

I assume the blackouts are by your IP.... although maybe billing zip too.

and to the surprise of no one, we learn that MPJ does not believe in vaccines.

Kyrie, Simmons, Wiggins...who has less trade value right now?

Well it doesn’t sounds like MPJ got the vaccine either. So his trade value could take a bit of a tumble also. I bet there are more players that we don’t even know about. I sure hope this doesn’t divide the NBA.
