Multiple league executives say the Knicks are now in the lead to land Tyson Chandler, jumping in front of the Warriors.

So Chandler this year and his buddy Cp3 next year? Things are falling into place for that orchestrated "dream team".

how would they sign Paul next season?

They can't sign him as a FA if they land Chandler.

Chandler
Stoudemire
Anthony

They wont have the money or enough cap space for another big money player.

Yep, NYCC has now rolled their dice on their BIG 3 version, probably figured they could not land CP3 or Dwght or Deron. Awesome front line but apparently they will have to waive Billups and their guard situation is where there big weakness is. Who will be their PG?

then again maybe not after I read this - Amare would not be happy!

"Marc Stein: Now to see if Knicks elect to put Amare Stoudemire in trade proposals to New Orleans for CP3. Sources say it's one option Knicks considering Twitter"

and, wny would NO want Amare? Too much salary theer. Give them Camby for him. :)

Amare would make life hell for the Hornets.

His ego is too big for him to handle such a situation.

As SI.com reports, the Lakers, Hornets and Rockets are engaged in 3-way talks on deal that would send Chris Paul to Lakers.

The Lakers are trying to do a deal for Chris Paul that will allow them to keep Andrew Bymum, front office source says.

No more Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook moves allowed. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7329584/nba-alters-emphasis-shooting-fouls-2011-12

And more rule changes mentioned. I like them all. Just wish they'd actually enforce them even after January.

I call this one the Andrew Bynum rule:

"Referees also will be hyper-vigilant about defenders making contact with offensive players when they're in the air and fully extended attempting to score. In most cases, expect that kind of foul to draw a Flagrant Level 2, which is two free throws, possession of the ball and the defender being ejected.

"That type of contact was a trend last season and it's really dangerous," Jackson said."

He did it to Michael Beasley during the regular season and JJ Barea during the play-offs.

Lakers pushing hard to make Pau/CP3 deal. If they can close, would offer Bynum for Dwight and whatever bad contract ORL wants to dump.

So: Rockets get Pau Gasol (play him alongside of Scola and that's a lot of floppy hair and floppin'), but who do Hornets get? Kevin Martin? For Chris Paul? I hope this is just New Orleans trying to drive up the price. Rajon Rondo's got to be better than that.

Fuck the NBA, Fuck the Lakers. How can they continue to convince these fucking teams to take their trash for all world players?

SI.com reports Lakers, Rockets, Hornets engaged in CP3 talks. That is indeed the case. Gasol would go to HOU.

Who owns the Hornets, anyway?! It's like they have a vested interest in helping some big market team get their star player any way possible!

...oh wait...

Yo Lakers fans will be on another level of annoying if they pull off the "IMPOSSIBLE" scenario. But Heat will still be most hated squad.

Teams are making moves to improve in a big way...

Paul Allen just tweeted about how he likes to Foo Fighters.

Fucking shit!

If the Heattles and Fakers end up in the finals, I will refuse to watch, because no matter who wins, I'll be pissed.

Shannon Brown is nearing a one year, $3.5M deal with the Phoenix Suns, league source tells Y! Sports.

Maybe he plans to interview Dave Grohl for our VACANT GM POSITION.

Yeah, putting that GM search on hold to save a couple bucks was a great move. Fucking Vulcans. This is what happens when you allow a bunch of bean counting nerds to run a sports franchise. Everybody else is signing free agents and working on blockbuster trades, and the Blazers don't even have a fucking GM, let alone a cap expert or someone with experience making trades. We have a college scout, a boyhood chum and a coach trying to fill a role none of them is remotely qualified to perform. How is this better in any way, than having Pritchard, Cho and Penn still on the payroll. Those guys may have refused to kiss Paul Allen's ass (pucker up, Bert), but at least they were qualified for the positions they held.

Yeah. Fuck the L*kers. Makes me sick to my fucking stomach. Especially when I have to live with these douchebag L*ker fans. Fuck them all.

Didn't reliaze Amare and Carmelo added up to be 40 million by themselves. But if Cp3 really wanted to go there he could take the full MLE if they got rid of everyone else. Doubtful I guess. But he would still make another 10-20 million on endorsements.

Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo

Names talked about in CP3 3-way are: CP to Lakers, Gasol to HOU & Kevin Martin & Luis Scola and possible picks to Hornets, source tells Y!

well, in reality a max for CP3 from another team would be 4/73.2, or 4/74.5 if in a S&T. But yeah.
