The 4th quarter worked, kind of, sort of. I was in and out on the first 3 quarters and it was AWFUL! The 4th quarter was interesting but disjointed and featured too much fouling. It did have guys actually trying though and it will be interesting in years to come if they continue the same intensity as they did for the first time around.

it was contingent on the game being somewhat close after three quarters. If the deficit after three is too large, i can see the losing team just giving up and the quarter lasting 5 mins. That's the other side of the coin with this setup.

Also, what I wouldn't do to get Ben Simmons paired with Dame here, man. ugh.

He's prolly one of my favorite players in the league. The defense/vision/speed he has would complement Dame so perfectly. He could be a roller or a guy who could run offense with Dame on the wings. Pair those two with a good defensive big who can work out of the P&R and some decent catch and shoot guys and you have a championship lineup.

If Philly bombs out of the playoffs and Embiid starts becoming more of a diva, I really hope Neil gets aggressive with some offers to land Ben.

AND that guy is locked up for 5 yrs.

I don't think the Blazers have anything even in the relative ballpark that would interest Philly (excluding Dame). It would take so many added assets I don't think it'd be worth it.

I suppose we can agree to disagree. I understand the desire to pair up Dame with a guy who can defend, slash and see’s the court like Simmons does.
