I'll stay for a close game . . . I'll usually leave early when the game has been decided.

What I find funny is people get so upset when people leave. Who cares? Let them leave . . . makes for less traffic and being home quicker anyways. People are paying over $100 for a game, they are entitled to leave when they want.

I guess if they don't want the full experience and cheat themselves out of their own money, be my guest. I laugh at them when the game isn't decided by the end of the 4th. (I'm looking at you Miami)

I don't get the point of going at all if you're going to leave early.. I'd give my tickets to someone who was going to stay and enjoy all of it.

Would you leave early during a movie, play, or concert? I sure as hell wouldn't unless it was painful to be there.

I got no problem leaving a few minutes early if the game has been decided. I get home in less the half the time v leaving after the final buzzer.

The point of going, even if you leave early, is to catch a basketball game. Why would I give my tickets to someone else because I'm going to miss a few minutes of garbage time?

the wife and I usually made it an event--showed up early, stayed late. Even though (or because?) we had a 3hr drive ahead of us.
