How the hell you cant even manage a goal against this rookie goalie. This dude wasnt even drafted. These fucking assholes lost three games to these scrub goalies.
 
They're going to drop their fifth straight home playoff game and if they don't score that will be one goal in their last four home playoff games. That's just ridiculous.

They don't deserve a goal. They should be shut out and they should be given the Philly treatment....a barrage of garbage thrown at them for the garbage that they played like.

That's why I said there is NO WAY he can be in a Rangers jersey next year. They MUST trade him. I don't care if they get back the last pick in the draft or a 40 year old journeyman AHL player. He can't be here.
 
There's plenty of blame to go around w this core offensively.

The last 23 playoff games 16 games they have scored 2 or less goals w like 5 shut outs.

Traveling to Long Island this week and got to watch the first half of the game at the bar. What a cluster fuck this was. Going into the season i thought this team was not as strong as advertised and needed some upgrades, but my god, it may need dynamite instead.

AV has started to wear on me but he's done well enough here the first 2yrs where he deserves another chance, but we cannot just make a couple of tweaks and expect this team to rediscover its magic next year. Unfortunately we have some awful contracts on D that will make it that much more difficult for the GM to really shake this team awake but weirder things have happened.

and the whining about the refs continues to make me laugh. It's just so pathetic.
 
They continue to be a tough organization to be a fan of. They really do take a lot out of you.

of crap will be shown the door.
And if this organization sits on its arses,
I can no longer support this team.
 
I think they will make moves but in a cap league and with bad contracts it's not easy to get rid of everybody you want. Some contracts expire and take care of themselves. Others like Girardi are just crap right now since he's currently broken down.
 
Buchnevich will(should)take one roster spot. You figure Lindberg will be in there f/t and Skjei takes Boyles place. McIlrath perhaps if Girardi or Yandle aren't around.
 
Perhaps but i don't think it happens. He'll finish out his contract here.
 
Nash is about to complete his 4th year of his 6 year contract on Sat.

Hopefully he will waive his NTC as he has trade value with only 2 years left on his deal
 
Said from day one this team needed 3-4 major changes. Gorton was a tool and thought they could contend. He screwed up big time. Now the team freakin sucks.
 
Rangers have not scored more than 3 goals in any of their last 22 home playoff games. That is the second-longest such streak in NHL history. What a complete friggin joke that is.

And that is why this team doesn't have a Cup. And why Hank has a .500 playoff record and wont get a cup unless he is traded.

This core of players has just never scored enough in the playoffs
 
It's an absolute miracle they came back from 3-1 down two years in a row. Not happening this time.
 
AV is not a playoff head coach...........
and neither are the players on
this team.

showed their inconsistencies again and again,
the window is shut for these Rangers to get
The Stanley Cup.

101 points and getting the boot in first round. Sound proof that the regular season means squat!

Really! He's a one to two year wonder
and then you get what you saw last night.
Long term he just wears thin. Watching him day in and day out, he coaches like this
team plays......poor decisions.
 
Hawks, Flyers, Wild all won game 5 on the road down 3-1...let's see if we can do the same. I certainly wouldn't bet on it with the way we played in game 3 and especially game 4, but teams have been staying alive and winning these elimination road games the past couple of days...so let's be next to do it.

With that said, I felt Pens in 5 or 6 before the series and I'll stick with that. You could clearly make the case that the Pens are the best team in the NHL right now, Sharks looked darn good as well, and they certainly have played that way down the stretch. The Rangers played like trash at MSG, but this was an awful matchup for us and I said it very loudly the second it was locked in.

BTW...it would be funny to see the Rangers win today only to lose AGAIN at MSG and get eliminated in 6. It would sort of fit. But truthfully I think we are done today. I just haven't see a darn thing that makes me believe we show up big today.

But hey...these are the NHL playoffs and anything can happen. So drop the puck and maybe we show up big and the Pens are a little flat.
 
We have been trying to tell you that all f'n year Chuck that this team has showed nothing. Yet, you continued to want to do more go for it now at all cost trades. Now the organization is fucked unless they can deal some players to get picks and prospects back.
