I have never seen a player make the jump that Bayless has made. Maybe that's because I don't really care about the progression of players that aren't on our team but still...I don't see why he shouldn't be the front runner for Most Improved Player.

If he continues for the rest of the season, he should certainly be in the conversation.

I'm not talking about 2 games...Look at this season compared to last..

2 games doesn't make a MIP. long way to go.

I'll be very intriqued to see the starting lineup for Christmas Day against Denver.

My guess:

Miller
Roy
Webster
LMA
Howard

6th man = Bayless - replacing Webster! Next in, Blake replacing Miller. Followed by Pendergraph replacing either Howard or LMA

In closing, WAY TO GO BAYLESS! I'm most impressed by his outside jumper! Exception being that final shot of the game (man, if that one would have dropped......!).....

oops

That's some improvement all right. I hope he keeps hanging out with GP. If Bayless keeps playing like this, he should be in the all star game, LOL. MIP is within his reach if he keeps getting minutes though -- and what idiot would keep him on the bench now? :) That would be awesome for him.

Noah.

Sorry guys.

Good call...Noah has definitely had a better year than Bayless but has he made more of an improvement? Bayless' progression is very exciting. I thought he had potential but didn't think we would see him produce until next year.

i doubt bayless would have a chance... unless he plays major minutes and averages at least 17 a night.

Noah.

Sorry guys.

When I see players putting up stats on bad teams it's hard for me to get a true gauge of their actual production. His rebounding is good, but a big man scoring 10ppg isn't so great if he's only shooting 46% from the field. Not saying Noah isn't a good player, but the Bulls are winning less than 40% of their games... can Noah be a starting PF on a winning playoff team? I'm not sure.

If Bayless keeps scoring ~15ppg the rest of the season as a 6th man on a playoff team I think he would definitely be one of the front-runners for most improved.

It's going to be hard to beat out Bogut for MIP this year...he's been a beast with Jennings running the point

Minor In Possession?

dang......bayless caught with the booze in da plane!! by the AZ port authority!

Yo... he's always been this good.

Just never got a chance to play.
