Favorite old TV show - Rockford Files.
Excellent choice and reminds me that I left off Maverick (TV series with James Gardner)

Garner was the master of the anti-hero role.
He has always been one of my favorite actors. Loved him in Support Your Local Sheriff and Support Your Local Gunfighter as well.
Two shows that are not talked about anymore that I really liked were Titus and Grounded for Life
Current shows that I can't miss are GoT, Better Call Saul, Top Chef.
Re-watching Deadwood now prepping for the movie. A case could be made Deadwood is the best show ever.
I'm just getting caught up on Better Call Saul now, currently on season 3. Bob Odenkirk is just amazing.
anything he's in is better for it...Bob Odenkirk is just amazing.

Deadwood was the best..pissed me off when they ended it without resolving the story..Ian McShane and Molly Parker were great in it.
You must have me on IGNORE as well.No love for the Sopranos yet? That show we pretty bad ass. .

Luckily I knew that Deadwood ended abruptly and they were making a movie before I watched it.I loved Deadwood. My life is forever incomplete due to its abrupt departure...
In no particular order:
Curb your Enthusiasm
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Game of Thrones
Favorite shows my kids watched (before Netflix took over) was Teen Titans and Adventure Time.

Pretty much everything nowadays is just glitzy, updated rehash of the plots and themes introduced in these shows.
You can even take a fun discussion about TV and turn it into a downer. That is a real art.
