Two shows that are not talked about anymore that I really liked were Titus and Grounded for Life

Current shows that I can't miss are GoT, Better Call Saul, Top Chef.

Re-watching Deadwood now prepping for the movie. A case could be made Deadwood is the best show ever.

I'm just getting caught up on Better Call Saul now, currently on season 3. Bob Odenkirk is just amazing.

I wonder if this thread was up a few years back if Cosby would've gotten some votes

Deadwood was the best..pissed me off when they ended it without resolving the story..Ian McShane and Molly Parker were great in it.

Deadwood was amazing. Wife and I called everyone and everything a hoople headed cocksucker for months after we binge watched it. And played a drinking game each time they said it.

Black Adder

The later version

The earlier version

Ed Sullivan, hands down.
Close second, Gunsmoke.

I loved Deadwood. My life is forever incomplete due to its abrupt departure...

In no particular order:

Curb your Enthusiasm
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Game of Thrones

Favorite shows my kids watched (before Netflix took over) was Teen Titans and Adventure Time.

Luckily I knew that Deadwood ended abruptly and they were making a movie before I watched it.

Some shows I enjoyed as a kid:
I Dream of Jeannie
Three's Company
Twilight Zone
MacGyver (Original Version)
Alien Nation
Star Trek
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Quantum Leap
Exosquad
Kolchak: The Night Stalker
Werewolf
The Incredible Hulk

5 Westerns - Bonanza, Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, Wild Wild West, Longmire

5 Subterfuge - The Prisoner, The Avengers, I Spy, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Mission Impossible

5 The Law - Perry Mason, LA Law, Dragnet, Columbo, Hill Street Blues

5 Funny Stuff - Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Fernwood Tonight, Second City TV, Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis

5 War, Exploration and History - Combat, The Magical World of Disney, Then Came Bronson, Drunk History, The Crocodile Hunter

Pretty much everything nowadays is just glitzy, updated rehash of the themes introduced in these shows. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

You can even take a fun discussion about TV and turn it into a downer. That is a real art.

You're right on with your funny stuff.

Just now stumbled onto this thread...I browsed through the posts and maybe I missed it....but nobody mentioned The Andy Griffith Show?

The Rockford Files.

Quincy M.E.

Hardcastle and McCormick

My son just set us up with a Disney plus account and I have to say in a small sample size, the Star Wars series Mandalorian is maybe the best quality tv series I've watched ever for tv....can't really compare it so early on as I've only watched two episodes and often the writing will water down as it gets going but so far....it's better than the last few Star Wars movies in my view
