Let's stop pretending. Banning has nothing to do with insults. Several posters and at least 1 mod do that habitually. It's part of their shtick. And they weren't banned.

No, just like on BBF and ESPN, edgy opinions are the true basis for all bannings. No poster on this board has ever been personally attacked and insulted as much as MIXUM was, but MIXUM was the one who got banned. None of his attackers did.

A mod is known to have engaged in over-the-top insult/threat trading and provoking with all 4 of the most recently banned posters. BenDavis500, MIXUM, PapaG, and Blazer Fanatic. So I think the parallel to what caused the BBF meltdown hits closer than you want to admit. Some people just can't handle power responsibly, even imaginary power.

Due to a rather large number of PMs we've received from multiple different members complaining about the forum not being fun due to BF's presence, a number of PMs exchanged with her with no satisfactory change, and after long discussions by all of the Blazer mod staff we feel that she is too disruptive so I have banned her.

I'm posting this here in the main forum but will move it to the off topic section after a few hours.
