He's full of shit. Despite that he made over 3 billion in profit and the team was making a LOT of profit just in the last few years he owned the team.
He saw an opportunity to make 3+ Billion, and wanted to come off like he was barely making ends meet, instead of just coming off as someone who only wanted the money.
I can't wait until the day we no longer hear the words "Vulcan" or "Kolde" with the Blazers.
But it is something newThey'll be something new to bitch about.
It was actually a Facebook comment, but yeah he said it.

"I did every damn thing I could for 23 years. Kept prices lower than not only any NBA team, but lower than college teams too. I had $2 tickets for multiple years. When I sold there were always 4k tickets under $29. I made money 2 out of 23 years I was the majority owner. Lost hundreds of millions of dollars..."
It's still bullshit. Because he also made hundreds of millions of dollars, not counting the 3.2 billion he made when he sold the team.
We don't have two bad contracts. We have Jerami's and I think he has value to some teams out there... not like a FRP or anything but like a second rounder and expiring contracts, I don't think we'd have to add a pick to him to move him or take on a contract that we don't like. Other than him we have a bunch of vets on expiring contracts Deandre, Ant, Rob and Tisse. Then everyone else is on a rookie deal or Deni who might have the best contract in the league that isn't a rookie contract.Being in owner limbo with an average roster, 2 bad contracts that probably can’t be traded, a meh GM/HC, and the 11th pick kinda sucks.
I really hope Scoot/Sharpe break out this year.
Late, rookieDid not read through all the posts so this could have been discussed but Dame can spearhead an investor group and change it to " God Country Blazers"?
The Best Acne Products of 2024, According to DermatologistsI really hope Scoot/Sharpe break out this year.
Tim Boyle and Dan Friedkin are also on the short list?

I think you have a lot of people blocked.Phil Knight states he has no interest in buying the blazers.
You are two posts late to the party ha haI don't know if you guys have heard this, but Phil Knight isn't interested in buying the Blazers anymore.
While complaining about non-issues feels great and is also a super fun read, they (Shaedon & Scoot) were 3rd and 5th on the team in minutes played this past season. Not to bore posters with relevant facts, but of guys who went in the top 1o in Shaedon's draft, only 2 played more minutes this past season. For Scoot's draft, only 3 who went in the top 1o played more minutes. They have to play to break out. CB has no use for them. Front office gave him a new contract so they are all in agreement. I look forward to seeing them play for another team that is not beholding to a bunch of useless vets.
Howcome there is no thread soliciting the members of this online forum if they want to combine resources to buy the team?
Holy shit! This just might work...The richest person here sold motorhomes.
Just one reason mainly, I don’t trust Adam Silver no matter what he says lol. Why? If league is adding teams (Seattle & Vegas), why would a new owner want to move the team?

Maybe it's just me, but I think the two 21 year old Blazers are coming along just fine and I'm excited to see what they do next year when I expect they'll have bigger roles.
