wait, she was a bandwagonning LMA fan anyway, and couldn't understand why the fan base was, like, negative, man? Who was her favorite player on that 2011-12 or 12-13 team that wasn't on 13-14, Nolan Smith?

I can't stand this type of fan. She probably will not follow the team again until they are in the playoffs.

She's the kind of fan that would start off a new conversation "Oh they suck" if anyone mentions the Blazers.

There seemed to be a big thing with her that she was sure people burned LA jerseys. Does ANYONE remember anyone going thru with that?

I don't want to mis-represent. She seemed like a long-time fan, it's just that LA became her #1fav player in 13-14.

He flew her halfway across the country to take her to a taco stand?

I said I would but honestly, I was too lazy to take my jersey to the fire pits. I may burn it on 11/11 but it depends on how I feel that day.

I kind of want to do something spectacular like shoot a flaming arrow into a jersey, but unsure how to get that done logistically.

I seriously hope the Moda Center boos the shit out of Aldridge on 11/11. None of these pussy ass "well he was here for 9 years" bullshit fans.

The only way that would work is if people "turn their backs" on LA. Maybe we can make that a movement but I doubt it'll pick up steam.

I actually think this is a good idea. I honestly don't think LaMarsha's fragile ego could handle silence. Boos would probably make him laugh, as that is what he will expect. Total silence would blow his tiny little mind.

yeah, but the dork blazer bandwagon fans will probably cheer and it'll go down in history as a "mixed" reaction. some kind of chants would be good but again you can't organize that on a large scale.

instead of players throwing T shirts to the homecrowd, the homecrowd should throw Aldridge jerseys at him during warmups

hopefully its bill walton bobble head night on 11/11

I still want to retire Adelman's #12 jersey when the Spurs come to the Moda Center..have a big ceremony or give the number to Meyers Leonard
I think it'd be fun to make it an annual thing, where we give #12 to guys that we're upfront about not keeping around (summer league invites etc.), your Brendan Haywoods & Mike Millers would've been prime examples to don #12!:smiley-yes: IF this were Star Trek... u can think of the wearers of #12 as our "Red Shirts!:wook:"

Do you think that was part of it? He could have been #1 on the books for maybe 8 years tops before Dame replaces him, so why not just leave and try for a ring instead?
I just think LA struggles with the alpha male role and needs a father figure to make decisions..it all worked out. Dame is gregarious..he needs no help taking control..he'll become the greatest Blazer ever and LA will be a Buck Williams type guy in the history books

But do you really think LA is THAT deep of a thinker......???

Oh man, please don't compare LaMarsha to Buck. Williams was a class act, start to finish, and brought us much closer (twice) to a ring than Aldridge. A better comparison might be Sydney Wicks. All the talent in the world, with nice stats but ultimately a prima donna pussy. His records didn't stand long either.
