Aldridge moving was not some "sooper sekrit." Once Batum was traded and no offers were extended to Matthews, Rolo, we traded for Plumlee, etc. it becomes really easy to deduce what's happening if you aren't looking at events through the lens of being a fan.

There's nothing wrong with taking our call, the more people bidding for your services the higher the price you can demand.

My guess is that the Blazers were pretty frank and said, "Hey, would you like to be our 1b to Lillard's 1a for the foreseeable future?" not, "Hey would you like to backup LaMarcus and be our third option for max money?" At which point Monroe looked at the overall quality of Milwaukee's roster and compared it to our and made a decision.

Yes, I do. I'm talking about Greg's and LA's willingness to commit to the blazers in the first place being contingent on the other player being here. The blazers may have been delusional about LA staying, thinking they could convince him to stay if they got him some help, so I can believe, that they believe, that Hughes sabotaged any chance to sign either.
