TRAIL BLAZERS ANNOUNCE 2012 NBA PRESEASON SCHEDULE
Portland hosts Western Conference rivals Denver, Golden State and Utah

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Trail Blazers announced their seven-game NBA preseason schedule today, highlighted by three home games versus Western Conference foes Denver, Golden State and Utah at the Rose Garden.

Portland will open the preseason with three road games starting with the Los Angeles Lakers in Ontario, Calif., on Oct. 10, at Phoenix on Oct. 12 and at Sacramento on Oct. 15.

The Trail Blazers then host three games at the Rose Garden starting with Denver on Oct. 17, and followed by Golden State on Oct. 19 and Utah on Oct. 22.

The Trail Blazers close out the preseason on the road at Utah on Oct. 25.

Trail Blazers preseason tickets will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at all ticket outlets, including trailblazers.com and the Rose Quarter Box Office. Full season tickets, individual suites, group nights, and partial plans including four Big Ticket package options, are available now by calling (503) 797-9600 or visiting trailblazers.com.

may I ask why they would not choose to broadcast those 2 games? Logistics? I would think plenty of people would tune in to make it worthwhile?
 
Where is Power Balance Arena? Is that the new name for Arco or are they playing Sacramento in some oddball venue?

Yes, that's the new name for Arco II. A dump by a different name is still a dump.

Tell me about it. I have to go out their once a week for work. I hear the arena is pretty good for catching a game though. It is the drive home that would suck after a few beers. About a 60 miles for me.

did you use to live in Utah? down in SoCal now? I think I just remember talking with you or someone else maybe who lived in Utah back in Hoopsworld who was in a related industry. forgot if it was you or not.
