Like Gasol, he didn't get playing time and having been a Clipper for so long, he just hates the Lakers anyway, that's a plus in my book. At the end of the season he had an allstar like game and put up huge numbers knowing he'd be gone soonDidn't Kaman sit out half a season because he had attitude and a team didn't want him around?

Post punching never works out in the end
Yeah if it counted against the cap like that you might have a point...

The Warriors got Shaun Livingston for the MLE.
We got Chris Kaman![]()
Do you think thats a mistake? I think Livingston would be horrific in a Stotts 3 point shooting offense. He's hit ten three pointers in his CAREER.
At this point i wouldn't be surprised to see Dallas give Mo the MLE.
Tells me Hughes thinks Meyers is another season from being a true backup off the bench.

Chris Kaman @ChrisKaman ·
I am very excited to get the offer from the Blazers and can't wait to get this season started! #RipCity #Blazers

Now he's just calling people douches on twitter. The troll is strong with Chris Kaman who claims he is a member of the NRA and PETA.
The best thing about the Kaman signing is the contract. We could trade him at trade deadline and give a team salary cap space or let him go at the end of the year and have salary cap space. No way is this designed to have Kaman on the team long term, IMO.
nobody understood d'antoni's plan/role for them. ask pauWell he did choose to sign with the Lakers (for less money than we just offered him).
I swear if he comes here and has attitude because of minutes like in LA . . . at least it's not a small market thing. I remember not liking Kaman because he has an attitude about minutes, but looking around I think my perception about that is wrong . . . still it hasn't been smooth for him in his last couple of stops.
Thats actually NOT what the contract is for. If that was the intended use then an expiring contract would be more valuable. The contract can be traded after next season but before Jun 30th (such as part of a draft day trade) and then the receiving team can cut Kaman. Its similar to how Toronto acquired Lou Williams for virtually nothing a week ago.
When you think about it, Kaman just basically took Earl Watson's vacant roster spot. We're better already. As is we are amazingly tall across the roster, if Mo leaves even more so. Nic can play the 2 at times and Will wants to be a 6'6 pt guard, Nico is a 6'8 pt forward. Stotts has a lot of options.
You're my favorite poster. Is Watson gone, by the way? Where did he go?

I'd love it if we went bigger instead of 6'1" and 6'3" in the backcourt so often.
