GG Blazerfan. Just don't tank for dem Spurs in the first round pls.

We're a step slow right now. Our passing hasn't been crisp and we haven't been taking care of the ball.

There's nothing left to do but to work for a win against New Orleans.

The Spurs are the best-rested team in the league because they use their bench. Always have.

Stott's Blazers are pretty much the opposite of that. That's the only edge they had on us tonight, although it's a double-edge. Tired starters and a discarded bench that doesn't really feel like part of the team.

Crabbe 16 pts, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal.

So you're saying The Blazers should play in the D League? :dunno:

That's one way to win a title.

D League's got playoffs, right? :ghoti:

Exactly. Splitter was about as good as Meyers at a similar year. Splitter's minutes were slowly increased, while Popovich seriously tried to improve him. 4 years later, Splitter can be counted on as a solid sub who sometimes starts. If Stotts were serious about player development, he'd give all his subs a few, but increasing, minutes every game, and demand improvement in return.

You are kidding right? Splitter was a star in Spanish and Euro league ball for years before he came to the US. The Spurs drafted him knowing it would be years before he come to the US because of contracts and how little rookie contracts paid.

I saw video of him years ago on NBA TV and his game and footwork were light years ahead of Meyers. Comparing the two is just nuts.

The Spurs kicked the Bulls' asses a couple nights ago. They played 13 players.

They're also the hottest team in the league (or close to it). Something like 9 wins in a row.

Spurs put on a defensive clinic and that's no surprise. They exploited every mismatch and we didn't. The made a ton of 3s and we didn't. CJ cannot defend Kawhi Leonard, this was a mismatch that was a head scratcher. We needed more TRob and more Barton, less CJ. Nic should've taken Patty Mills off the dribble all night but he passed to a teammate which I didn't get. Well, 19 games over 500 in the middle of March, it's just a hiccup in the grand scheme of the playoffs. Home court advantage is great but we've actually been one of the better road teams until recently.
