A fair number of homosexuals are ashamed? Did that come from the same place Shooter gets most of his "facts"? You know, that the majority of climate scientists say global warming is a hoax? That Hillary Clinton would steal the 2008 presidential nomination from Barack Obama, black people would riot in the streets, and the Republicans would win? That Sarah Palin was a guarantee of victory? That Iraq's illegal weapons had been found? That Isiah Thomas could not have committed sexual harassment because the woman in question wasn't "hot"?

News flash: Most PEOPLE sometimes do things they are ashamed of. It's called the human condition. Hard as it is for some here to accept, gay people are human. And everything that applies to humanity as a whole applies to us.

Including certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

BTW, I'd be glad to see the Blazers have a "Constitution Day", give out copies, maybe have a Constitution class an hour prior to the game, no doubt some PSU prof is available. Because I've found that, like the bible, the people who thump the Constitution most often know it least.

You know that the phrase "certain inalienable rights, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" is not in the Constitution, right? :devilwink:

Yes, I do. That is why I said "BTW". An aside. For some reason some people counterposed support to the second amendment to support for equal rights. Why not support the whole Constitution?

That article doesn't say what you think it does.

A new Gallup poll shows a huge majority of Americans -- 79 percent -- supported Paul's position that drone strikes should not be used on American soil against Americans suspected of terrorism. Just 13 percent say it would be okay.

Americans also don't support drone strikes against any suspected terrorist on American soil (25 percent support, 66 percent oppose) or against U.S. citizens suspected of terrorism abroad (41 percent support, 52 percent support).

In fact, the only circumstance under which Americans support drone strikes is when they are used on foreign soil against non-U.S. citizens. Under that scenario, there is clear support, with 65 percent in favor and 28 percent opposed.

Paul's position, of course, is now the position of the Obama administration as well, with Attorney General Eric Holder having issued a letter clarifying that the United States would not use drone strikes against noncombatant American citizens suspected of terrorism on American soil.

It won't matter. Obama's going to surrender and leave (afghanistan) before next election.

If you follow politics, you'd know that Rand, Cruz, Lee, and the others are battling it out with the establishment republicans McCain, Graham, et al.

The establishment republicans are the ones that seem to want war as much as Obama does (Syria!).
