Hearing thru the grapevine we have at least one decent offer on the table but it depends on the availability of a certain player at #7.

Sounds like Collins/16 for 7 contingent on Dyson Daniels being there.

Raptors reportedly also like Dyson and worked him out.

But isn't the only way to get OG to throw in Hart or Little?

I'd prefer OG to Collins and 16. I like Collins but he's not a good perimeter defender. 16 with change can probably net you Grant who I do like and is a good fit.

OG's contract can be absorbed into our TPE so all that would need to go out is #7. I don't really like that idea either, tbh.

I can get behind the Collins idea only if he comes with 16.

well, I can wish that it's #7 + Milwaukee pick to Detroit for Grant + #5. And that Portland/Detroit agree on who they'd take at 5 but Detroit is fine with taking a certain player at 7, if he's still there

yeah, it's probably an impossible dream but I sure like the idea of Portland moving up in the draft a lot more than the idea of them moving back or out of the draft
Im with ya on that!

I think it would take more than that to get that offer from Detroit. The Blazers would have to include something like Little or Hart to sweeten the pot.

Grant and #5 for 7, Hart, pick in 25 + a 2nd rounder isn't horrible. No idea if it even works though.

I wouldn't add Hart...no way. Little?...yeah

It's probably an unpopular perspective, but IMO, trading #7 for Anunoby isn't a significantly better deal than trading #7 for Grant

Grant probably has offensive advantages; OG probably has defensive advantages and on the glass. But OG also has a very worrisome injury history. Both are unlikely to ever be in an all-star game.

That makes sense based on the rumors of them liking the kid, but I would think if they gave up Collins in the deal, Sochan would make a nice addition to their roster as well.

if that's the case we should be able to re-sign him for 15 mil or less if that 25-game stretch is meaningless right?
No. You see while last years numbers are great, per 100 possessions in his career, last year was great, but not an outlier. He did did very well on good teams also. Grant’s numbers are a bit more lopsided playing for the shitty Pistons

Did we work out Sochan? If so how did he do? What about Eason?

I think if Blazer management allowed the market this summer to set Ant's value Portland could re-sign him for less than 20M/year
