I think Murray is arguably a bigger risk. Can't create. High usage in college. Significantly older than his counterparts.

He has all the hallmarks of a good college player who doesn't translate at the NBA level. On the flip side, yes there is less tape, but the consensus is that Sharpe has the highest ceiling in the draft along with Chet.

If I'm trying to hit a home run and get a franchise player, Sharpe is the better prospect.
i generally agree with your mindset of go big or go home, but i really like Murray. Think he has all star potential with a high floor.

I like him too and wouldn't be mad if he's there. My preference is Sharpe but I'd be happy if Murray is the one left on the board.

it seems like our fans like keegan murray & shaedon sharpe, imagine both of them gone at 5 & 6, which is more than likely

unless pistons & pacers really like guys like dyson daniels & bennedict mathurin, but thats about it i would think

if we keep the pick, please god, let it be the right one

I would take Daniels if Murray and Sharpe are gone.

I agree. I would take Sharpe over Murray. Portland also has everything a player (especially a guard) needs to realize their potential.

realistically, we'll have to climb to 5 if we want Murray.

Yes, it is possible. I think Sacramento is looking to trade down. 7th would probably be acceptable to Sacramento if their choice is still available at 7.

for the pistons, both murray & sharpe make a lot of sense

hayes aint it at the guard, so sharpe might be the answer long term along with cade, on the other hand, they can add murray and have their wings set for the future with bey & murray

im not sure about the pacers, but apparently theyre tearing it down completely, so they can pair haliburton with sharpe or draft literally anybody

could be wrong but the preferred target for both Detroit and Indiana should be Ivey.

Cronin would be a hero to me if he moved up in the draft and grabbed Sharpe or Ivey.
I don't care what he gives up, though I wouldn't want it to be Simons. If it's Murray we want, I wouldn't want to give up as much.
We could send Josh Hart, whom I love, to Sacramento and create playing time for Sharpe or Ivey at guard.
A future backcourt of Ivey or Sharpe and Simons could be special.

could be, but im just assuming hell be drafted at 4 and that pistons & pacers wont trade up

the kings are looking to trade down to get the guy they like or maybe get an established nba player in order to compete

Yeah, which is why the trade idea of swapping 4 and 6 between Indiana and Sacramento makes sense for both teams. Ivey went to school in Indiana, too.

I'm pretty sure Sacramento wants to trade out of the 4th pick, since Ivey doesn't seem to want to go there (who does?).
So I'm also pretty sure Detroit, Indiana, and Portland are giving offers to Sacramento.
Sacramento could actually end up with a great draft for once.
Edit: I doubt Sharpe is excited about going to Sacramento either. Murray seems to be the best fit in the top 7, or Mathurin.

he's from the South Bend area cuz his mom coached at Notre Dame, went to Purdue. Having lived in Indy for almost a decade, I know how much their ownership/branding revolves around "growing basketball" in the community.

I'm not really interested in Ivey honestly. I was listening to a few podcasts and they said that he's similar to Ja Morant in a lot of ways, but he's not nearly as good as Ja.

I love his bank shots. He didn't always overpower other players to get points near the hoop. Reminds me of Tim Duncan there. And of course his 40% 3-point shooting.

He's bigger than Ja and shoots 3-pointers better. He's fast as hell. Think Russell Westbrook or John Wall.
He is NOT a point guard (at least not now). But with a guy with that speed I want him to think score first.

he's miscast as a PG. He needs the ball in his hands, yes, but his playmaking leaves a lot to be desired. He would work perfectly next to bigger PGs like Cade or Haliburton.

My comp for him has always been Donovan Mitchell.

Wouldn't necessarily move the needle immediately, but we could do FAR worse in this draft than Ivey at 7 lol

I will always be a risk taker, I want championships so the draft gives you perfect opportunity to get a super star go for the guy with most potential to be superstar unless there’s a red flag with attitude or work ethic

i have ivey in my tier 1 in this draft. we should thank our lucky stars if there are that many teams that let him fall. Also think he's ROY if he goes to the right team.

He's also just really fun to watch. I know that's not quantifiable and probably shouldn't be a decider or needle-mover, but there's something to be said for having guys you like watching on your team...

I would not mind if it was us getting Collins. (and 16) Yes we need defense at PF and he is only "average",
but IMO we desperately need some offense from that position as well. We can use 16 to grab a defensive PF.
I just don't see many healthy options out there that provide both skills at the 4 spot.

What Sacramento should do is draft IV and build around him. If De'Aaron fox is not a good fit trade him for whatever they can get.
