You're hilarious.

He was the one committing an illegal search, I defended my property, I had 3 witnesses with me, and he made no report, filed no charges.

Pretty sure he has a permanent scar on his right arm.

You might want to check with a lawyer as I'm sure they will advise you that assaulting a police officer is a felony regardless of the circumstances. There is a process if you have a complaint of an illegal search, but assaulting a cop could result in a felony charge. Vigilantism is not allowed. By your reasoning if I get pulled over for no reason (it has happened to me) doesn't make it legal for me to attack the officer.

You are obviously not a "Real American (bot)".

I’m for anyone expressing distaste in the NFL and boycotting things they disapprove of. I have a couple questions though.

At what point does protesting everything that rubs us the wrong way make us just as bigoted as the ones we are boycotting?

If our aim is to support the players who are using the NFL as microphone to voice their concerns, aren’t we also boycotting them?

I think the NFL is in a weird place, they’ve got concussion and injury stuff, they have people now on both sides boycotting them because their players are protesting. From a business standpoint I think it’s a hard situation. Everything they do is going to piss off someone.

Again I’m not at all saying people shouldn’t boycott if they feel they should. We do have to remember one thing the NFL has no power whatsoever as to how cops treat minorities, they can’t pass any laws or make any rules about that even if they really wanted too. Can they work on their own culture absolutely.

Anyways I respect the people who are boycotting for whatever reason (especially if they actually enjoy football).

^^^This !...and along those lines, IMO, if a cop pulls you over and orders you out of the car, or if you are running and a cop tells you to stop, or if a cop give you a general order, you better damn well do what the cop says.

...if someone believes the cop was wrong, well, there's a right way and a wrong way to handle it...but bowing up at a cop or getting in a cop's face is asking for trouble.

@yankeesince59

Look at your post and how you typed inside of my quote. Reply to that post and you'll see what I'm talking about.

And "yeah right" usually means "I don't believe you".

...geez, I though you said we were done with this discussion...why do you feel the need to dredge this back up and revisit this again?...and therein lies the problem, I don't think you're looking for a discussion, I get the idea you're instead looking for an argument.

...and sorry, but I will not get sucked in.

You just asked a question above. I simply answered it...
