We could get Mo/Meyers/ET/Crabbe at the minimum, right? Let’s do it!!!

The players we miss most from the 2019 WCF squad are Seth and Enes (and to an extent, a healthy Rodney Hood). I'd love to bring back Enes via the TPE! Curry probably prefers his role in Dallas over his role in Portland but he was the ideal backup point for this team.

Hell no!

I could take 1 of them as a minimum contract. Definitely not 3 or 4 of them.

All of those guys would be a good deal at the minimum. You can't have enough good contracts on your roster, especially this one!

I like getting Kanter back....if that's not in play when it comes to bringing guys back cheap I'd also take a look at Ed Davis ...we need offensive rebounding ...both guys rock the offensive glass

Mo yes. Meyers...only in desperation. The other 2 only if their salaries were paid directly over to me!

Ranking them in order of who I want back:

ET (just for the lockerroom camaraderie - Dame said ET was his funniest teammate "and it's not close")
Mo (So he can train Hoard to be his doppelganger)
um
That's it.

If only we knew in 2016 that those awful 4-yr contracts would result in ... 2020. Bringing them all back does fit the overall year, honestly.

Almost 100% certainty. A team first, 7'0" center who can shoot threes, won't pout and demand playing time. Yes, he'll find a spot somewhere.

he's already said he wants to get 20-25 minutes a game

Mo is clearly worth more than the minimum.

I'd he fine with any of the other three on minimum deals. It's obvious they aren't entitled to playing time. They would be good 3rd string options in case of injury, etc.

I think we would've loved their original time here if they were on minimum deals. Sort of like Steve Blake.

Do we want Mo if we still have Ariza? They are essentially the same player size-wise (6'8" with a 7'2" wing)
But one of them would have to start at the 4.

Both Little and Gabriel need to be groomed for that dual role.
But I can't see Hood going anywhere coming off that injury.

We need to focus on is a starting spread 4 who can also cover the perimeter.
Is Mo and/or Ariza the best we can get?

Here's a question for y'all. Would you prefer Vonleh back for the minimum, or spend our MLE on Leonard? What about Leonard for the minimum?

They aren't the best available, even in this weak FA class. Are the best we can get? Quite possibly.

I think he's wanted that the last 3-5 years, but it hasn't stopped him from being a good teammate.

If the question was: Do I think Meyers would come to Portland for the minimum with the understanding he'd be the 11th man in the rotation? The answer would be no.

I still think Meyers at the minimum is a deal you take. Same with all the other guys listed.
