I mean more on a general level, like fans in here, instead of saying the WNBA loses money, and the NBA has to subsidize it, look at it from the perspective that they're all together.

NBA has condensed games on league pass.

WNBA should be free streaming. Maybe partner with Peacock network. Ain't no one paying for that.
 
How about this, during commercial breaks on NBA League Pass, they force you to watch WNBA highlights and player profiles.

A white man was sentenced to 14 years for marijuana in Russia as well....another got a 20 year sentence....both non celebrities...Russia has brutal sentences for most foreigners arrested for cannabis...I did some research when Brittany first got arrested and didn't find any americans with such a light sentence...they were all brutal....an Israeli American woman has been in prison for 10 months already on a cannabis conviction...not sure how long her sentence is but I sure couldn't find a 3 month sentence for any american arrested....Russian nationals get easy sentences for cannabis compared to Americans....what is the nationality of the lady you are referencing? In comparison...two men already in prison there got much harsher sentences than Brittany and both are non-celebrities but I believe one was an embassy worker. Today I read that Biden is working on another deal to get Whelan and Griner home ...I hope they work it out. A black american man was recently released here in the states after spending decades in jail over cannabis....as I've mentioned...it's a huge problem here in the States as well as all over the planet.

If Griner is freed, she'll probably be awarded Athlete of the Year.
 
Honestly, Rodman would probably do more to get her out than anything the Biden Adminstration has done.

Russia about to get a lot more prisoners. You would think players would see what happened to Griner and stay away from there. Not to mention refrain from playing for Russia to stand with Ukraine. I guess money...or the promise of it talks.

Yeah, in sports, and basketball in particular, money=respect.

They are going where they are respected.

wrong...they are going where no one is respected. where political opponents are poisoned or thrown out of hospital windows...money is a bullshit excuse to go there. Plenty of overseas gigs that aren't invading Ukraine and using chemical weapons in Syria. They arrested millions of war protesters over the Ukraine invasion. The World other than China and N Korea has sanctions against Russia...what braindead athlete would think they'll ever see a paycheck in that broke ass country? All the billionaire yacht owners are losing money hand over fist. This is dark lord Putin Russia. Dumbest thing you could do is to go to Russia today...they couldn't pay me enough to go there.

I guess I'm wrong and they aren't going then. Apparently the articles I read on it were mistaken.

People who feel they are underpaid tend to make poor choices to get the pay they feel they deserve.
