Yeah, I don't think that you are. At least not in this forum.I know I'm in the minority, but I think the Nets won this one. They got an absolute haul for a disgruntled Harden.

Lol. For all the hate everyone threw at Morey he ends up proven right.
Harden >>>>>>>>> CJ
Is he?Lol. For all the hate everyone threw at Morey he ends up proven right.

agree, we would get more but why trade him if they can put a team together in the next year that could compete rather a totally young with at a minimum 3-4 year before they make the playoffs. You can trade Dame next year if the planets aren't lining up but give Chauncey, Dame & Joe at least till next year to try. It's off-topic, but this trade does impact the Blazers. I fully expect Lillard to be traded this summer and to build around Simons. The Nets got incredible value for Harden. You don't think we could get at least that for Lillard? I think we could get more.
Harden is definitely the superior talent, but he's going to be on a MASSIVE contract, he's aging, and he's a serious cancer.
CJ for all his faults, is not a cancer. I actually think CJ as the lead guard could be very similar to Harden in terms of production.
Not to mention the money he will want. They will move Harris now for sure for the right deal.Morey also broke the first rule of big trades.
Don’t make a trade with a legit competitor in your conference.
This is just so, so dumb on many levels by the Sixers.
76ers gave up to much IMO! wow!
I don't think Dame has given the front office that much time.agree, we would get more but why trade him if they can put a team together in the next year that could compete rather a totally young with at a minimum 3-4 year before they make the playoffs. Come on. CJ is not even in the same discussion with Harden what is this?
Btw Harden opted in for next season so he gets paid 47M. I prefer personally 47M to Harden compared to 35M for Simmons.
This gives Embiid and the Sixers a real chance to win.
I do, Dame is going to end up owning a piece of Blazerdom too. lolI don't think Dame has given the front office that much time.
To me, the union no longer makes sense. He has more value as a trade asset than as an elite player for the next 3-5 years. We've shed salary at the expense of talent. There aren't enough assets left to allow us to build around Dame. He can go elsewhere and compete for a ring. Better to trade Dame and get the ingredients to rebuild.I do, Dame is going to end up owning a piece of Blazerdom too. lol
Found Joe Cronin.I had been suggesting Simmons, Maxey and multiple 1sts for awhile and got shit on about it.
I would take that deal today.
It's exactly what I said it is. I think I was pretty clear.
Found Joe Cronin.
Multiple firsts from a team with Embiid and Dame would be pointless.
They can be used as future assets in trades.Found Joe Cronin.

I want nothing to do with Simmons. They can be used as future assets in trades.
Simmons and Maxey are both strong players that have youth on their side.
If we are gonna blow it up, that was probably one of the better deals they could get for Dame.
Unless you would prefer something like Jaylen Brown and picks.
Agree, he's there most valuable asset but its pretty clear what Joe & Chauncey want to do and Dame has bought in. He could be gone in the next 38 minutes too. Dame is still an All Star all world player that loves PDX he also puts people in the stands waiting for Joe to spend more money makes since and if it doesn't work shop Dame in a year or so. Why hurry his value will maintain when he comes back healthy, Dame Lillards only come around once in 10 years or so, if that.To me, the union no longer makes sense. He can always come back as a minority owner.
Well i can say CJ Elleby with 35 minutes can have same production with Lebron. It doesn't mean I shouldn't be questioned about something as absurd as this.
You are saying a HOFer can have same production with someone that has never even been in discussion to be an All Star.
Agree with much of this. Your final sentence is wrong though; Durant is signed for 5 years.Philly had kind of found their mojo over the last couple of months. 16-6 over the last 22 games. Curry was part of that, but Drummond really wasn't. So, for this year's team they are essentially replacing Curry with Harden. I think in the short term (next couple of years) the 76ers may very well have got a lot better
Brooklyn is a mess right now, and has lots of injuries. Hard to say how effective Simmons will be the rest of the season. With ultimate health, and Simmons on his game, I can see a Durant/Kyrie/Simmons trio being better than one with Harden. But that's a really tough needle to thread 2/3 of the way thru the season
Short term winner: Philly. Long term maybe Brooklyn but Durant's health, Kyrie's brain, and the psyche of Simmons is a real volatile mix. And, both Durant and Kyrie have player options for next season
What makes you say he has bought into a long-term vision? It's much more likely he's given the team a short rope to dramatically improve or he'll ask for a trade.Agree, he's there most valuable asset but its pretty clear what Joe & Chauncey want to do and Dame has bought in. Couldn't agree more - Seth Curry was the steal of this trade IMO. Philly fans are going to shit bricks when their defense plummets. Offense will win games for them.
Maybe so, but he said last week he's willing to at least give it a shot. He could also be gone in the next 27 minutes. Why is everyone in such a hurry to trade Dame now, is it the same reasoning you thought Simmons value would go in the tank if Philly doesn't move him right after playoffs. What makes you say he has bought into a long-term vision? We're on the clock...
