never been a huge fan of his game. but its very hard to dislike travis as a human. best of luck to him except when we play him!

I hope so. I'm a softy when it comes to this culture shit. I need to get over that.....maybe. We'll see.

well actually maybe not now that I think about it. Maybe if it was for a player that could be used next year. But this is basically saying "we wanna do more this year and you just wont be able to help with it" sorry lol.

Man, that bites for you, Blazer_hippie... if I was a kid and that happened to me (my fav player being traded) I'd be bawling.

I've been warning them all year that they were both probably going to get traded, or at least be gone after this year...haha... of course they both also love Greg

I'll always remember Outlaw, everything about him, but especially those game-winners he used to hit...

Farewell, Bo.

Worst part about this deal is that it's each of my kid's favorite players...

daughters name is Blake so she loves Steve Blake...

Son got to meet Travis last year and shake his hand so that's his favorite player...
Doesn't cost much to change he name!

Yeah, no doubt. I'm sure he'll be greatly missed in the locker room, especially with B. Roy. I would not be surprised to see him back.
But damn, getting Marcus Camby is great!

hopefully that was before the weinergate scandal.

Oh they know about it...I told them what happened - in kid friendly terms...they were both like "ewwww, gross!!" (they are 6 & 10)

Our house has kind of a long running joke about how many names for "junk", "nards", "member" etc...there are...so we're pretty open about most things like that.

Yeah, and what girl wouldn't want to be named Camby?

It will probably be a tough morning when I tell her that her name is now Camby...

I get the logic. I just have some reservations that it's going to work. On paper this is a logical and smart deal. That doesn't mean it's going to work. This franchise has historically underestimated the impact of culture and chemistry. I just hope it works this time. I predict a shit storm. But that doesn't mean the storm can't subside and we can move on. That is what I hope for.

im going to sleep soon..hopefully i wake up with this trade approved, finalized, done.

Goin' to bed. Hope this shit is done when I wake up! Sweet dreams nerds!

I really like this trade and wanted it to happen more then outlaw/blake for haywood. unfortunately outlaw is my favorite blazer which means i'll have to watch some clipper games. Anyway this fills a position we really needed and i'm gonna be stoked if it goes down.

Our chemistry has been crap for 8 weeks. We've played .500 over the last 8 weeks. Guys coming in, guys coming out. Nobody knowing their playing time on any given night.

Kevin Pritchard just took care of the chemistry problem by removing Blake and Outlaw....addition by subtraction.

Outlaw was about to come in and really screw up the chemistry of this team. He would have removed minutes from anyone who played small forward and power forward, mainly Batum, Roy, Webster and Cunningham.

Blake, though needed with Roy, Bayless and Rudy's injuries the last 8 weeks was highly useful, his usefulness is over now that Rudy, Roy and Bayless are all healthy. That takes care of another chemsitry issue.

Roles are now finally identified.

The Starters:

Camby
Aldridge
Batum
Roy
Miller

The second team:

Howard
Cunningham
Webster
Rudy
Bayless

The 8-man playoff Rotation:

1.Camby
2. Aldridge
3. Batum
4. Roy
5. Miller
6. Howard
7. Rudy
(depending on the night either Bayless or Webster or Cunningham)

I'd put that group of 7+1 against any team in the NBA. It's full of talent and experience with the 8th player being inexperienced (though it's hard to think of the 5-year Veteran Webster as inexperienced)).

Chemistry is solved!
