No, not really interested in naming names of people who had posts deleted or edited. Staff here act more like firefighters than police. My intention in pointing out how few posts were edited or deleted is just to show that for the most part this has been a very healthy discussion. Also, I'm trying to speak to people's higher angels in the hope that this discussion continues to stay civil. Have we missed some posts or decided not to take action against, sure. This has been a very very busy thread.

In all seriousness, after my squirrel father died attempting to reinstall the Kaiser in Germany, I didn't have a reason to check in as much.

But the staff here are so laid back in a way that reminds me of how the internet used to be. I can be a contrarian prick in good faith and it's all good. I was definitely of the opinion that having lefties as your mod team sort of guarantees the site becomes a hugbox but that hasn't been the case here at all.
